Road trip! CD suggestions?

Going on an 8-10 hour road trip (each way) this weekend and would like some cool shit to listen to on the way there (and back).
I've got music more or less covered, unless you've got a super-duper out-of-the-ordinary suggestion. I'm mainly looking for stand-up comedy CDs or the like. Books on tape would be rad, but I doubt my better half would be as interested in hearing Robert Jordan prose as I would.
When I was in college I had to drive about 9 hours through South Dakota (possibly the least scenic bit of interstate ever created) and the Katamari Damacy soundtrack was delightful, but this will depend on your and your SO's taste.

David Sedaris makes for great audiobooks - my favorites are "Me Talk Pretty One Day," "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim," and "When You Are Engulfed in Flames."
You can also download the episodes of the Paul F Tompkast (there are like 10 of them, I think, and free.) and listen to those.
One of the best audio books is World War Z, if you or your girl like zombies its well read and plays out like This American Life in the zombie Apocalypse. Pretty great.
For Comedy, Micheal Ian Black, Maria Bamford, the Sklar brothers, and Jessy Joyce all have pretty great albums.
If your looking for comedy I would recommend anything by George Carlin though his early stuff would be best as it has shorter bits and you don't lose so much if you have to focus on driving for a few minutes.
Dennis millers early stand up and audio books (though some of it is more dated then the dairy section)
Dave Barry audio books never a 10 but never less then a 6.
Eddy Izzard's Glorious, History and comedy in one album.
Anything by Bill Hicks.
Either of Patton Oswalt new CD's.
Personally when I drive for long periods these days I grab a handful of old (02-05) loveline episodes.
Cause id suggest dumping the prearranged CDs and going with a music streaming service like Pandora or last.FM instead... it's really much more enjoyable to have random music playing and getting to hear new stuff rather than reviewing your existing audio collection on a long drive IMHO

It's easy to keep up with and really fun and interesting.
Also involves a road trip.

My old history teacher played it for us, and I loved it so much I bought my own copy (now gone to the annals of who knows where....)

I'd suggest Eddie Izzard but about 30% of the humor comes from his miming so I'm not sure how well tha would work out when you can't see him.

Their Chopper 5 skit is the best thing ever.

That, and podcasts on a topic that interests you.
