Identifying this old PSX hardware

Going through the basement looking for stuff to put on eBay. Found this. I am pretty sure it attached to the back of the PSX, to allow playing import games. Not sure what it is called though. Anyone know what this is?

That looks more like a 3rd party memory card. It may also be some sort of gameshark-like device. I think its a memory card because of how the front is designed with that arrow, but the bits on the back look pretty strange for a memory card which makes me think it's some sort of cheating/hacking device.

I never did any importing for my psx though so I don't know. I'm tempted to break out my old playstation just to see what kind of ports are on the back. Do you have any other pics?

It looks like a multi-page memory card. Does it have a button on the top? Pressing the button would change page and there should be a light indicator as well.

    Okay, here's some more angles.

From the bottom: There are two slots, not sure why

From the left side: Looks like some USB port or something

From the top: there is a slider switch with 2 positions, and button.

I also found this thing, I'll call it device 2 for now. Not sure if it even goes with the PSX.

That actually looks like a Gameshark for Gameboy Advance.

Yeah, the clear one is for the Game Boy, I think the GBC. You put your cart in one slot and slot the whole contraption into the Game Boy, activating cheats as you go. The USB slot is to update the software.

The second looks like a chip for a PSX that could plug into the external port on the back - I just had a look at one I have lying around and that black connector looks like it'd fit right in. I assume that the white port is a serial connector to update the chip software similar to the Game Boy one's USB port.

EDIT: Yeah, a GIS for 'game boy gameshark' gets this, which looks identical and comes with the appropriate cable. Zxerol is right, it's for the GBA:

And while we're at it, this is the PSX's parallel port:

Okay, found device 2, it's a gameshark pro for PSX. Apparently I didn't like to put my stickers on my gamesharks. Thanks for the help everyone!
