I made a wiki for a Play-by-post rpg game thingie that I'm running and I've run into a weird problem that I'm not sure is common or not.
I use wikia for this particular wiki. And 90% of the time, it works great. It does what I want it to. But I'm kind of OCD when it comes to the way I want things formatted sometimes, and that is when the problem comes in.
Say I want this:
Blah: BlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlah. BlahBlahBlahBlahBlah.
When I'm making the post, it looks like that. Perfect. When I hit publish, about....probably 40% of the time, it turns into this.
Blah: BlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlah. BlahBlahBlahBlahBlah.
Or some variation of that. A lot of the time, random apostrophes will appear in the middle of the blahs, which I understand to be how wiki does its formatting...but they literally appear randomly in the blahs. Most of the blahs that I put in, I copy and paste from the game forum (with different formatting that I change once its in the wiki).

Same with three apostrophes in a row for bold formatting.
If you are copying/pasting a lot of quotes, you may actually have two apostrophes rather than the quote symbol, depending on the forum or whatnot.
It might help if you posted a concrete example of what is going on, with relevant links.
EDIT: You might also try using the plain text wiki editor rather than the fancy one with all of the formatting tools.
