old magazines and software?

I have old magazines and software (about ~10 years old). For example, Norton Utils for Win 95, Redhat version like 5, etc. Old issues of Linux magazine, boot pc, etc. Original version of Quake for PC, etc.

Any of this worth anything? Either sell it or donate it? Or should I just throw it away? Seems like a waste; I have an entire box of the stuff.

Games might be worth something to someone, but I very much doubt any of the other stuff would be. Well, maybe some of the magazines too, depending on what you've got.

The makers of the magazines may be interested, but I wouldn't count on them wanting to pay for them.

The software isn't valuable, unless you have very early DOS era or earlier software in there. Donate.
Quake is too common to be worth shipping. (I'm assuming it's in the original box.) If you have other games, you might have luck listing them as a lot on ebay.
    No clue on the magazines.

Go through the magazines and frame/scan the awesome ads in them.
