Does the undead guy still have that artifact that doubles your units' attack power? That thing was broken as hell.
Love this game; wish they'd make an iOS version.
Capy's Critter Crunch was a PSN/iOS dual release; I would unabashedly triple-dip for an iPhone version, as the horizontal playfield would be perfect for it.

You mean vertical, in portrait mode, I hope?
I would probably buy it again for iPhone to for multiplayer with friends.

Heard the proposition that RIAA and MPAA should join forces and form "Music And Film Industry Association"?
Is Cyrus spell good for anything? I'll freely admit to never having worked out a satisfactory way of playing the Academy units to begin with, but that was brutal. (Never giving me two Mages at the same time when I'm using the Mage stacking artifact didn't help.)
Almost through the second campaign (Griffin) and I still don't have the "Sir Links a Lot" achievement - seems like it would be basically impossible to link 5 standard units together unless you are super-super lucky with reinforcement drops...so I'm assuming the best chance of this would be to use 1 knight, 1 griffin and 3 normal units or something like that? (timed so that their timer countdowns are the same), even in that case it seems like it's pretty random to get it.
Accidentally forgot to shut the game off the other night so now it says "22 hours played" but it's probably more like 7 or 8, still a really long ass game for such a cheap price.

If you're just after the achievement and have 2 controllers, load up a versus game and just set it up that way. Otherwise, it's going to be very luck-based.
Picked this up on Lunkers recommendation. Really excellent stuff. Thanks!
Big jump in difficulty with the Human Chapter (2), but I quite like the challenge. This has kinda gone the complete opposite way to Dungeon Raid as they branch out from Puzzle Quest and both blow PQ out the water. On reflection PQ is such a horrible, grindy game.

Glad to be of service. I feel the same way about both Dungeon Raid and Clash of Heroes. I actually bought PQ2 on iPhone, but only put about an hour or so into it. Once I installed Dungeon Raid and played it for 20 minutes, I just out and deleted PQ2. Not only it is a pretty mediocre port, but it's generally just so slow and bogged-down compared to how quick Dungeon Raid is, and PQ feels so random compared to Clash of Heroes, which is much more strategic and tactical. There are occasional times when I grumble that the AI gets a really lucky shuffle in Clash of Heroes, but in general I feel way, way less at the mercy of random luck than I ever did with PQ.
The elf-to-human transition is tough because they play so differently. The elves focus on speed and linking, whereas the humans are much slower, but more defensive, and since you have more time to set up your attacks, I fuse a lot more with humans. And they have the strongest walls, so it's encouraged to build defenses, then cook up massive attacks behind them. I'm in Fiona's chapter now (the undead), and every race feels quite different.

No, there was actually a pretty long thread on it.

2009 is a year of Updates - one every Monday. Hopefully. xx

But it'd be a very enjoyable time-sink:P
We also did a video on this one. The Button Smash Plays Clash of Heroes.
