You know the individual words but... combined they suddenly become indecipherable?
Well the meanings between the different words do seem a little indistinct at times.
And also the words used to describe different aspects of gender do change over time quite regularly compared to other terms, which can make it hard to keep track of them all.
Though I am sure they all mean something, I think it is more in a purely academic sense.

Well the meanings between the different words do seem a little indistinct and unnecessary.
Not... really
Asexual and cisgendered are self-explanatory and heteroromantic is, presumably, a term for an opposite sex romantic relationship even when there's not a sexual component
someone who doesn't like having sex
someone who is interested in the opposite gender romantically, as in marriage and dating
someone whose gender identity matches what they were born with

I think that while to some people they are self-explanatory, to others they aren't. I mean, you're a writer, words are a thing you know a lot about, so keeping track of these varied terms is a lot easier for you than others. People should be willing to learn these things, but I think it is forgiveable if they say "actually it is getting pretty tough to do so."
One of the problems with that is using academic terms in general discussion, because then you are basically excluding everyone who isn't an academic, which is OK in an actual academic discussion but not a friendly conversation between online buddies, perhaps.

Genderqueer is when you're far too hip and cool for normal gender labels
n-no not really
it just means "I don't care shrugshrug"
queer and genderqueer are incredibly all inclusive terms and they work well for prettymuch everyone who isn't a boy or a girl or straight and doesn't care about nit picking down to a specific label. It is very much the anti-label label or the I dunno label
are you completely hetero but you're really attracted to mtfs transgendered individuals? You can call yourself queer if you'd like. Nobody can force a label on anyone else. You are who you are and you express what you express.
If you don't want to bother learning them, that's fine. But when you meet someone who falls outside of what you know, just be respectful.

straight people who don't like sex?
Yeah, but I'm assuming heteroromantic doesn't imply you don't like sex. Asexual does. But asexual doesn't implicitly imply you're romantically interested in the opposite gender. Heteroromantic does.
And neither have anything to do with gender identity. Cisgender does.

People don't want to have to wikipedia terms all the time, which is not overly unreasonable, also wikipedia has a habit of referring to other obscure terms which can be tough to get through.
I am not saying that people shouldn't be willing to learn these terms, just that it shouldn't be surprising that often people don't, and that they can get confused by them.
I had been thinking all this time and I came to the conclusion that the reviewer is too much distracting in both positive and negative ways.Positive for the gay community and people who like to see different or uncommon things.Negative for some because can disturb people in variety of level degree.
And at the end a high percent goes away thinking in everything but the game. And that's bad for a company who wants to make money, not to revolutionate the homosexual community.
Why don't you sign for a reviewer that can motivate, and make happy most people in a positive way like, was going to say a nature sexy female born but gay community is going to kill me so; what about a crazy clown with a lot of humor,or a couple of midgets three stooges style,or a mime,or a hip hopper singing the reviews.
Anything but relax people, the key is to attract customers not move then away.Carolyne don't take it personal, don't blame me,blame Gamespot.
hey gamespot has a transgendered staff member and she just did a video review for la noire
you'll never guess what the standard internet reaction was!
I'm guessing Admiral Ackbar was quoted and then a debate started on whether or not the each individual replying to the review would engage in sexual intercourse with her.
So basically, 90% of what happens when a non-transgendered female posts a video to review a video game.

I know a girl who just hates physical human contact. She is capable of having relationships, even romantic ones. But hates the idea of hugging, holding hands, or even sitting next to someone. Things like kissing or sex she finds outright gross.
She describes herself as 'asexual' because she has no desire to ever have sex or even kiss another human being. She does still get crushes and sometimes wants to pursue a romantic (boyfriend/girlfriend) relationship with people but it obviously never works out because everyone else wants a normal relationship with the intimate things that usually involves.
In case its not already obvious - I went out with her in highschool for a while before I knew this (and probably before she did too). Since then shes had a bunch of "boyfriends" but it has never worked out for more than a few weeks or months.
I am not saying that people shouldn't be willing to learn these terms, just that it shouldn't be surprising that often people don't, and that they can get confused by them.
That's fine. Just be respectful of people and you'll get by fine! Nobody is going to be 100% what that label is most of the time anyways, that's why communication and understanding is so important. Everyone expresses themselves differently. We do what we want, we are who we are, everyone is different. If you're ever confused about what to call someone just ask! As long as you don't start asking super personal questions that you wouldn't ask to any straight cisgendered person, you're fine.

i am not a fan of labels
i would regift a labelmaker like that
Eventually it all starts to sound like anthro otakukin shorthand.
it's not cool to enforce your heteronormative standards on a grammarqueer such as myself
