Well, this thread doesn't matter because unless server stability improves miraculously by Sunday the boards will pretty much be down during the press conferences when the load spikes.

I just realized that and it's really depressing. This forum is always my favorite part of e3.
I want at least two of these things to happen at Konami's show.
1. Castlevania LoS sequel
2. Metal Gear Peace Walker Remastered
3. Metal Gear HD Collection
4. Footage that proves the new Silent Hill won't suck
5. Silent Hill HD Collection and/or Shattered Memories on PS3
6. ZOE 3
7. More MGS Rising Footage
For Castlevania, I'll only forgive them for ONE sequel to LoS. After that, I want them to go back to making other Castlevania games. I didn't like the story for LoS at all. Mostly the ending crap, goddamn.
And ZOE 3, I'll eat my own dick if they so much as mention it.
I thought Lords of Shadow was frickin' awesome. Aside from the navigation issues and the titan fights. Great graphics, phenomenal art direction, amazing soundtrack, great story. I am actually going to get DLC for that game, and that happens like once a year max.
Also - damn you, Konami! I have next week off work and you have to have your presser tomorrow?!

If I get the days off from work, I'll be making the post-conference threads for Sony / Nintendo / MS. I'll likely post the threads very early on in each of the keynotes, and will do my best to update them with relevant information.
But yeah, Wulff is right on the money; we usually have a live-discussion thread, and then threads for each one to discuss the megatons that were dropped.
Edit - Debating on the Konami one.
If you want we can halve them. Microsoft and Nintendo are no-go's for me (4am here) and even the EA one is a bit difficult (7am on a day off?) but the other 3 (Konami, Ubisoft and Sony) I should be up and watching.
And yeah, Lords of Shadows was mediocre at best. It just plodded on and on and on. Maybe if they halved the game length they'd be able to make levels that weren't insanely boring.
Hooray, it's this time of the year again. I always love these threads, I remember everyone going crazy when FF XIII got announced for 360 a couple years back.

This one is only 36 kB and yet it says everything. Best popcorn gif.
CD Projekt (The Witcher, GOG.com) will be having some sort of conference today at noon (PDT). I imagine something will be announced. It would be silly to have a get together 4 days before E3 just to pat yourself on the back for The Witcher 2.
I loved it when Sony showed off FF14 and everyone was freaking out right up until the end when "Online" appeared on the logo.
Which was yet another case of FF fanboy stupidity.
You'd think the Galkas and Mithras would have been a clear indication from the start that this was going to be another online game, but nope. I seemed to have been the only one who was ecstatic when the "Online" portion showed up.
DVRing Konami tomorrow off of G4 just to have it. If it's even half as bad as last year it will be astounding. I hadn't thought anything could top the half-hour speech about Avatar from the year before. I don't think anything can quite top the sheer awfulness of everything that was Konami last year, but we'll see.
Nintendo's last year, well, they revealed a new Kid Icarus game. I cried tears of joy because I am a sad sad person.

They've already said that they're announcing either Lucasarts or EA.
Always odd at e3 time, opening up Mirc and having it tell me how many years my free trial is over and the windows being still in odd shapes where I left them to fit around several livestream windows last year.
I usually install an IRC client for E3 and then uninstall it afterwards. Because IRC just isn't something I use.

Why not just use an online client like Mibbit? (you don't have to sign up, just scroll to the bottom of the page and click "chat now"). It'd save you the bother of installing/uninstalling.

I'm not sure, but I vaguely remember being annoyed at some limitation in the web chat.

The web client link in the OP is actually a Mibbit link :P
Did you use a different web client previous years? Or was the way looks changed?
I used to link to a Java IRC client hosted on my domain, but it appears it is broken in every new browser, so I just figured out what Mibbit needed for a direct link and used that. Didn't want to bother with trying to fix the hosted java client.

Oh snap, Konami is tonight. That one better damn well be as unintentionally hilarious as it was last year!

Have to wait for a vid/restream link or torrent for the Nintendo one I think, rather not watch it halfway in.

Sigh...man, I was so excited for that game.

Microsoft at 5.30 GMT is perfect, going to miss Sony's at 1am though
Really want to see what they show with Vita.

And Konami's today? Thanks for the heads-up.
