I can play Nurgle, if you want.
edit: We've only had one other player drop out mid-game, and in that case I brought Rius in to finish it, since he was one of the most active/experienced players and was willing to do so. Ignored the sign-up list and such and asked him as a personal favor.

Alright, let's do it. @Darian, I've added you to the game on Handtracker and updated permissions. Thanks for stepping in! We'll see if we ever hear from SBeast again. I'm guessing we won't.

Blah, you need to put me into the game replacing SBeast on handtracker, so that I get his hand.

    Oh, ok. Fixed?

I'm not seeing much hope for Nurgle, here.

    Leper from Tilea to Bretonnia.

Thanks again for stepping in! Not sure anyone else would've wanted to. At least it should hopefully be over soon! (please, please, please, be over soon)

Believe it or not, I had already updated it and was preparing to post it when you did. Now I don't have to!

  • DarianDarian Yellow Wizard The PitRegistered User regular
Dang, it's worse than I thought. Hadn't noticed the second Doomwheel in Norsca.

  • ArdorArdor Registered User regular
    Daemonette from Tilea to Estalia.

    0/6PP, rest.

  • ArdorArdor Registered User regular
HR has 7 from Norsca, if he takes second ruin in Estalia, he's got it. Khorne pretty much wins by dial if the game doesn't end this round.

I pretty much toasted my chances by taking fall from grace. The keeper upgrade is pretty much what you take with slaanesh it seems, if you want to win. Ha!

Pretty much. There's just so much synergy with Slaanesh's cards. It's probably situational, but I think the Daemonette upgrade is cool too. Of course I just really like jacking other people's stuff.

The Daemonette upgrade is frickin' sweet. Soporific Musk without using a card slot and you get a warrior? Sign me up!

  • DarianDarian Yellow Wizard The PitRegistered User regular
You can't use it to teleport across the map the way you can with Musk, though.

    Round 5, Summoning Phase

    game44state45.png

Knights (discard if in Bretonnia) and Dwarfs (Place a Hero at a Hero during Event (no Heroes left)) are still on their futile quest.

    Chaos effects:
Norsca: Doom x2 (+3 VP if HR dominates)
Kislev: Shock (Warpstones and magic add to T's domination)
Tilea: Skulls (killed figures add to K's domination)

Slaanesh is resting; The Horned Rat is active.

Pull in a Plaguebearer, Lord of Change, Daemonette, and a clan rat, all from Estalia

...how did I not realize someone other than me had Daemon-effective forced movement? Oh well, don't blame me when the Horned Rat racks up a boatload of points and wins the game because you just had to get all clever on us.

Nothing for it now but to summon the Acolyte from Troll Country to Estalia.

Apparently you haven't been watching game 47. My Keeper got shuttled off to the Empire, where he is about to give lots of nobles to Nurgle before being slain by a hero.

    Round 5, Battle Phase

Knights (discard if in Bretonnia) and Dwarfs (Place a Hero at a Hero during Event (no Heroes left)) are still on their futile quest.

    Chaos effects:
Norsca: Doom x2 (+6 VP if HR dominates)
Kislev: Shock (Warpstones and magic add to T's domination)
Tilea: Skulls (killed figures add to K's domination)
The Border Princes: Outbreak (region is Populous)

    Kislev: 3 dice, 2 dice
    Bretonnia: 1 die, 3 dice, 1 die
    Estalia: 3 dice, 1 die, 1 die, 2 dice

Please roll in strict power and region order.

You were in a good position to dominate Estalia with your daemon. It's one thing to give you second place, but the domination would win you the game.

anyway, 1 measly hit in Kislev.

    One hit on what?

Kislev: A Horror scores a hit in Kislev, just enough to kill the Bloodletter who was going to die anyway, thus putting himself in the hero's line of fire.

    Good job there, dude.

    Bretonnia, round 5: 1d6h4 1
    Kill the rat.

  • FunkyWaltDoggFunkyWaltDogg Columbia, SCRegistered User regular
Bretonnia: The Lord of Change racks up two hits, slaying the Leper and Plaguebearer.

Since Slaanesh's roll in Bretonnia is completely inconsequential, is there any reason we couldn't proceed with Estalia if Khorne is around?

  • DarianDarian Yellow Wizard The PitRegistered User regular

    Sounds good to me.

edit: Are you sure you wouldn't rather kill that daemonette, though?

    Darian on
  • FunkyWaltDoggFunkyWaltDogg Columbia, SCRegistered User regular
Pretty sure. Khorne's going to win by dial long before he's in danger of achieving a VP win, so I figured I'd settle the issue so we can move on as soon as possible.

  • blahmcblahblahmcblah You pick your side and you stick - you don't cut and run when things get ugly. Registered User regular
    Yep, go ahead with Estalia.

Estalia: 4 hits, taking out 2 acolytes and 2 clan rats
