I feel like Kayle needed a remake, not fiddling with numbers.
Yes, like make her ranged, or make her melee. I feel useless when fury is down and even once I have plenty of CDR, there's about 2 seconds where it's down where I missed kills.
A teammate just pointed out to me that each of my abilities is an omen of each of the four horsemen of the apocalypse... Unless you play Darksiders, then fury and strife are missing.
I don't know. Granted I haven't played much yorik, but it seems like it's a bit early to pass definitive judgement on him. I mean especially taking into context that the champs people play, they know well. So the learning curve needs to catch up.
That said, I don't think I've seen a team with a yorik win yet.
I think once people get a good handle on how to build him he'll be good in the right hands.
Except in cases where a new champ is blatantly overpowered, people usually harp on about said new champ being underpowered every time, and then someone finds the right way to play them and it's all good (or bad, with the case of things like players discovering roaming Alistar, oi).
Psh, new kayle is about infinitely better than old. Still not sure whether that makes her, "viable in the current meta" or not, but she is a lot better.

I'm not so sure. Take new GP, who after my 2nd game I carried with, despite pretty much never playing him before now (I have a few times, but not for many months). I have yet to see any Yorick positively contribute in a significant way.
First time I am getting some unexpected login problems... Saying it is a 15 minute wait, and when it tries to login after the wait it says the servers are too busy.
EDIT: Now 40 minute wait.... Guess something is going on

And my purely anecdotal data is superior to your purely anecdotal data. Or something.

Anecdotal data supporting an objective analysis of his skills. His numbers don't add up and he doesn't have any skill synnergy like, say, Blitz (with grab, pop, silence for great CC).
No clue how to build Yorick.. I find it irritating how squishy he is and his damage is awful. Also his W and E scale with physical damage I believe but do magic damage. Also dying and reviving usually accomplishes nothing.
Also his W has shit range making it pretty useless in a chase.
Tried new kayle and carried 2 games with her.

I was really expecting a Kayle remake, and not buffs here and there. Though it seems she'll be able to be ranged more often, i feel that they should have gone and changed her skillset.
And still no dedicated pet class. Come on, Riot. Where's my DotA Syllabear?

Do not believe that the impossible exists. That is why you fail.
I just Grand Skyfell directly onto a Lux at half health
She died
I laughed
and the rest of that game went pretty well, too - and we won.
Also, I know this will be a retarded question, but can people see me coming? Sometimes they don't move at all and I worry I'm picking on developmentally disabled people, and other times they preternaturally shift just beyond my ult when it's too late to cancel

kazaka they can see you coming but sort of at the last second. Your allies can see it for a long time before it becomes visible to your enemies for maybe a second. Then you land.

Ah, thanks, I'll try to be less timid about it since I have a little more surprise on my side

I'm excited to try Kayle again. I tried learning her when I first started LoL... not too much success. Now that I have more mechanics down and better skills I think I will be able to do much better.
I just hope I get to lane with a support.

Holy shit. His jungle is faster and safer with Long sword + 1 HP than it was with cloth + 5 HP. Still don't need phoenix stance.
14/2/7 with 5/5 (or so) dragons and 1/1 baron. I was good with him before, and this mega buff has just catapulted him into hyper carrying. Being able to proc vastly more stances before you get to level 15 + blue buff + chalice is awesome.
Final item build was:
Wriggle's
Merc Treads
Chalice
Sheen
Wit's End
Vitality Stone
2.5k gold unspent or so
Hm, with Nunu getting nerfed maybe I should start saving up IP for Udyr for my new jungle fun. I always liked the champion looks and theme wise, and now he sounds like a beast.
honestly I don't even mind because of how cool I think he is
long live new King Udyr
In his defense, he's vastly easier to counter than many other champs. A single green ward protects from his ganks, unlike, say, Nocturne, and silence and Ignite are both powerful tools to kill him, while exhaust is good for getting away.
I think they need to meet halfway between the old mana costs and the new ones, because it is a little too cheap right now.

I've always found him one of the most fun jungles. I've mained (top 5) him for a while, so this is icing on an already delicious cake, but he's really, really strong right now. One thing I like about him is twitch skill is supported well by his skill set. You need to do a lot of correct actions quickly to win, but he can win big by doing them.

You keep putting him on a pedestal and Udyr will be the new flavor of the month. :P

Honestly, if I thought I could keep him from being FOTM by not posting this here I would not have done so. I'm convinced the marginal effect of my posts here will be fairly minimal.
Someone is going to get owned as fuck, likely on a stream, and post to the General Forums, and the crying / FOTM spamming will begin, in my estimation. Or, perhaps, he'll sneak by for months, but I doubt it.

Probably going to buy some runes to do the vamp scepter jungle route on him too

I still don't like how easily she gets zoned out by pretty much anyone.

I'm... not... seeing anything in the patch notes about kayle? :?
Just play her triple-snowball and be happy.

there were kayle changes, just undocumented
some people are saying they've been hotfixed so
