Not that you guys need me to tell you to, but it would be awesome if everyone would also go and check out the Mario Marathon too. http://www.mariomarathon.com/

I wish I'd had more time to watch that last weekend. They looked like they were having way too much fun with that hammer prop. :P

people were constantly bitching for me to take it out
The only time I ever wore a monocle of sorts is when I self made one after finding out I was to play a wealthy person in a public forum for something at school. Hammed it up a bit (read a lot) and would take the time to polish my fake monocle after every point I made. Kids generally found it hilarious, teacher had mixed views on it, finding it simultaneously funny and rude

But, did it ever pop out in surprise after your opponent made a strong rebuttal?

That's a pretty great story. I wish I'd been that awesome when I was younger.
And yes. It must have popped out in surprise at some point. Must.

monocles don't pop so much as slip out of place and fall out
I took the chain off mine to make it lighter for my face-muscles to hold in place which didn't actually help and meant that it feel all the way to the floor when I lost my grip on it

This actually happened several times. Once on accident even when I raised my eyebrow at a question, forgetting (somehow,) that it was there. And also sometimes when I was laughing (which happens constantly when you're wearing a monocle)

Bad timing, having it clash with Glastonbury Festival really.
They're playing that mario shaped level in Mario Galaxy right now. It is painful.
Great episode. Also loved the reaction to Gabe's statement, and come to think of it, that whole segment.
it'd save time and his shirts are certainly big enough
Check out this quick reference guide: Homeless Cities.
Agreed. I wasn't really into this for the first couple of episodes, but I've loved the last few.
So Mario games are the next thing everyone is going to arbitrarily stop liking. OK.
It's a desert bus joke.

To answer their question about Gabe Newell though, when he said "You know the answer" what he means is "It's done when it's done".
Which is a well-known quote for when people don't have a projected date for a video game.
Yeah, but interpreting the answer in a logical way doesn't give nearly the same opportunity for Laffs™.

Only complaint: needs more top-hats.
Especially me. Because I have zero.

and cheek fat.
Fat, of course, being a symbol of wealth and prosperity in the days when monocles were most popular.
