    So how about 'dem nicks?

fake EDIT: What does this even mean?

Oh, they are a group of professional movers of an orange ball over a distance of 94 feet towards a metal ring. Good on them.

Hakkes, feel free to call me any time you're feeling down. Or up. Or left or right. Or one of the diagonals. Or up up down down left right left right b a select start. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, if you ever need to, feel free to call me.

Man, this place is pretty awesome vis a vie the psychological health of it's members. And that's like the 2nd or 3rd time tonight I've gotten to use via a vie.
I don't know what's more amazing, that you spelled it differently both times you've used it in your post, or that both spellings are wrong.

So it appears Casey Anthony will be cashing in on her new celebrity status and will be competing on the next season of Dancing with the Stars.
No, she will not be. But you clicked on this spoiler so, for a split second, you thought it might be true. For shame, American culture, for shame. Our expectations for acceptable entertainment have sunk so low.

So I scraped my knee pretty badly Friday night. When I got home I went right to bed. The next morning I realized how bad it was. I couldn't find any gauze, so all I did was take a shower and wash the wound. And then I went bowling. Right now, it's painful but I guess it's starting to scab over or whatever. I still don't have a bandage on it.

The question I have, since I never applied Hydrogen Peroxide or any other antiseptic is what is the possibility my knee will get infected and they might have to take it away?

The new vis-à-vis is to just write "wrt". wrt wrt wrt.

I can actually see myself using "concordantly" in real life, it gets at a nuance which "in this spirit, it follows that" does not quite capture, but "ergo" seems truly pretentious.

All I have is peroxide. Should I really not use it? I can't really afford to go out and buy antibiotic ointment right now. That's kind of why I'm asking. I can barely afford gauze.

Also I'm really lazy and I would have to leave the house to buy these things. I do have peroxide and some cotton handy, though.

Antibiotic ointment is as cheap as gauze!

Also, unless it seems infected (deep pain, soreness, painful red ring around wound) I think that you are fine. Just keep washing it.

Oh. Probably a pretty dirty wound, then.

I would apply an antiseptic now and hope for the best (which is likely), although not hydrogen peroxide. Go to the store and get a cheap tube of whatever.

(I am partial to gentian violet, but only because my ex-army family doctor used to hand it out. It stains everything spectacularly, though)
