Edit: As long as it has easy to connect/configure controller support I may actually freaking get it.

I played 2k10 with a PS2 controller and 2k11 with a 360 controller and both worked great right out of the gate. I would definitely recommend a 2 stick controller, though.

I forget who, but I believe someone mentioned being bummed that Project: Snowblind isn't on Steam. Perusing the SE pack (it's still up, but with no discount), I found this. No idea how long it's been on Steam, but there ya go.

Or maybe they were bummed it wasn't part of the DX daily sale. That sounds more likely.

Edit: Also, Dawn of War II appears to be on sale at D2D for $10 today. I already have it, but I remember seeing it mentioned in previous threads. It's steamworks, so it should be enter-able.

Yeah it is, but it uses steamworks as a platform for launching and patching.

DoW II: Retribution is entirely steamworks (even down to the match making).

So Last Remnant is fun. Not sure how it played on the 360 but I've heard it's much improved on the PC. Either way it's one of about 6 JRPGs this generation since the industry decided shooters and fallout style rpgs are the way to go. That scarcity may be biasing me towards liking it more but it's really fun.

... Except the main character. The main character is a moron. A backwoods, simpleminded idiot and one of the characters comments on it a short way into the game.

In his defense he's a JRPG protagonist so if you judge him by that or by his looks he's either 15 or mid 20s. if it's 20s then god help us, our savior is dumb.

Thanks for all the great entries! It was very hard to pick winners.

    Images in spoilers for size.

    The winners!

First up, we have Rizzi with this wonderful Shoggoth pic. And yes, there's a Shoggoth in Cthulhu Saves the World.
    Forgotten_Shoggoth_by_henning.jpg

Then, we have Bullio's entry. Gotta start 'em young!
    cthulhu01.jpg

Great model that I'd love to use in a tabletop campaign as well. Two people sent in the same image so I'm awarding it to the one with forum seniority - (Psiberian)
    cthulhu.jpg

Another awesome Shoggoth pic was INeedNoSalt's entry.
    shoggoth_portrait_by_fuiron-d34fwas.png

And finally, I've decided to award hombrelobo a win for his entry even though he just joined simply because his entry is quite possibly the most terrifying and insanity-inducing thing I've ever seen.
    MfE5y.jpg

Thank you for all the excellent submission and congratulations to all the winners. I'll be sending you each PMs shortly with your codes. :)

Yeah I knew it was the date, but because those images from The Hawk and the Hare are from part 4, I assumed it was from part 4.

I also found the comic the runner was from, so I did the same thing for that, and was trying to find someone who died in the olympics :O

There are three pictures. Hawk, Hare, and 2. Thus "The Hawk and the Hare Part 2" even though none of the pictures are from that comic.

But I actually lost because the picture I found was to say the least not as good as the other entries!
