I use to wear contacts some 4 years ago. They were the cheap kind, have to take out everyday and were difficult for me to wear them and I stopped due to two things:
-I work with computers all day, so I usually stare ALOT at the screen at work
-They would dry out and I always had a tough time putting them in, in the morning
So I am thinking maybe I want to try contacts again. What types are out there? Definitely would like some that stay moist, don't dry out that easy, easy to take in or out and can live in for long periods of time.
pretty much any contact is the kind you should take out every day. The "leave in overnight" ones are really more of a "if you have to or if you forget" kind of thing.
Many people like the Accuview (or however it's spelled) for comfortability.
Yeah, I've been wearing contacts for about 10 years now, I can say that the Acuvue 2 (sp?) is by far the most comfortable brand I've worn.
However talking about your eyes drying out, that may be just a person to person thing. I know mine rarely dry out during the day but then I know people that have to put eye drops in every little while.
I've got Acuvue Oasys (I think). I find them very comfortable and I work on a computer all day. It took me a little while to get good at putting them in in the mornings and I'm still not perfect at it. I dropped one on the floor this morning.
