Hey all, so my mom's netbook has apparently stopped working and I am at a loss as to how to fix it. When I turn it on the Acer logo appears and then the screen flashes to a blinking cursor in the top left corner. I've tried the almighty google and from what I've read there is a hidden recovery partition you can use by hitting alt f10, but this doesn't work for me. The only thing I can do is go to the setup menu, no other buttons will work.
The big kicker is this netbook doesn't come with a cd drive so using the windows xp cd won't work either. Is this computer just going to have to bite the bullet or can it be fixed?
