This thread has fallen into disarray.
I've been looking around various PW's still. I've been playing on Orb of Abrogation (PW Action) for a few days now.
I'm liking it so far...combat XP is low, but quest reward XP is a bit higher, and there's occasional "roleplay" XP bonuses.
Most of the things I've found so far have been balanced pretty well, and you get enough money starting out to buy a basic set of +1 equipment.
The residents that I've met to this point have been nice. Some of them fit your typical NwN RP stereotypes...dark, brooding, yet at the same time cool and sexy! But I've mostly ignored those and spent a little time with the normal people.
I'm currently a level 4 halfling fighter, nothing spectacular, but the quests I've been on so far have been just right in terms of gameplay. No pathetic enemies with -5 to attack making me yawn, and no +6 rats of doom in a damn "clear the sewer" quest, either. The newbie quests actually interest me, with themes like "find my lost grandson, probably kidnapped by the undead" and "go convince this dragon to help us fight the mercenaries who took over the farmlands".
So, yeah. I'd recommend it. Balanced gameplay, a little RP, pretty much right for what I'm looking for.

With a new quarter just starting and a 20 credit load, as well as a new computer on the way (which will mean playing new games) I'll probably be playing very little of this for the foreseeable future. If it looks like you all have agreed on a server to play for team night long term, then I may very well join you on that night.

Like, I had all sorts of buffs on. Then suddenly I have an equal amount of debuffs on, then suddenly I'm getting raped for around 30 damage per hit.
Then I'm dragon food.
Fucking migraine.
I call her Alice.
There's room enough on here for her, you, and your walker.
Dru has a hoveround, he cruises the geriatric ward in style
