for example, if you have a burned pokemon at half health that takes 4x damage from stealth rock and you disguise zoroark as that pokemon, it shows up as the disguised species, with full health, no status, takes regular stealth rock damage.
you basically have to use zoroark first, which is still a really cool and fun strategy to try out, but it should have been better

Honchkrow is a favourite of mine, such a great design
As far as spooky mons through the ages it was Misdreavus I thought was cool back in the day in spite its stats, I should probably make a Mismagius at some point

The only thing I know about the Pokemon making process was that one dude was annoyed that the Frillish line he had thought of had the ghost type added on and the nasty pokedex history fitting of a ghost type
Honestly though it was for the best, we have enough pure water types as it is

(Because I think it looks cooler)

I made a dark team in sapphire once, but I didn't have anyone to play with at the time so it was just for giggles.

"what do you mean the lips are too big on this hoodlum lizard"
nobody suspects the choice band sharpedo inquisition
sand veil subpunchsuckerpunching with some seed bombs
I want a Gengar
I think they have each designer come up with a certain number of pokemon
and then they pick from those designs and if they need more ghost types or whatever, they ask people for those
then sugimori does the final art
Best pokemon will always be Flygon.
flygon is the worst thing to happen to bug-types
in that it is not one itself
As much as I'd love to have a Bug / Dragon pokemon, I need Ground / Dragon for my ground gym I always want to make.
proof that when a bug type becomes sufficiently cool it's not a bug type anymore by definition

wrong, sir

vespiquen, heracross, ariados
So ugly you make the musketeer trio look pretty
Flygon is cool
end of story
I could deal with the final stage being dragon/ground
but trapinch has no excuse for being pure ground
it is an antlion, goddammit
