I played soccer in some elementary grades. We had an undefeated season once, but I was very rarely on the field. Just an official substitute.

my dad said to me the other day i've had a hard life and i was like uhh why
he was all lets see. you had severe meningitis aged 3, and came within a hair of being permanently disabled
your mother died when you were 4
the woman i met and remarried beat and neglected you
you were bullied to shit in school
you were smart but lazy in school and never really clicked with education, and have had a hard time holding down menial, boring jobs as a result
to this i am like tschh it will all work out eventually right?

you know how charlie brown always played baseball? well, his team actually won once
it was the game he missed, because he was at home, sick in bed
now, not a lot of people know this, but I played soccer as a kid
catholic school's team, second grade
I really loved it, and I made a lot of friends through the team, too
but!
we only ever won one game
when I was home
sick in bed
upon realizing that I was basically charlie brown, I gave up on sports forever
and now I'm really fat

every year my team would lose
one year i just cried in bed and didn't go to school
my team won lots of medals
that's when i realized i had bad karma and i ruined things
