But he had been placed in a previous season hadn't he? I want to say that effects what leagues you go up against. For new accounts usually plat is the highest you get, no?
But it's possible he won all five and still placed into plat, or maybe he had to quit a game prematurely because he had to do an MLG match.
Lmao, nice league Meeks.
For a clown.
On his way to the circus
In his clown car
Did someone mention clowns? Reminds me of that time I offraced as clowntoss and beat a certain Masters Terran. His name was something like Who...or Where...
Sick interview. He mentions that back a while he had also scouted HuK and Select to join ROOT.
So that means the players assembled to join ROOT by CatZ and drewbie at some point included ...
Sheth
Kiwi
Slush
Destiny (Great publicity)
qxc
HuK
Select
Minigun
Major
ddoro (Might qualify this MLG)
He also tried to get Stephano for complexity.
Really wish ROOT got a major sponsor before they had to be assimilated. Or even further back before all their players started to get vultured by major teams (qxc, Sheth). For a team assembled by players the success they had is a pretty big feat. Considering all the corporate affairs poking their nose in now it was very refreshing to see the equivalent of Mom & Pop Starcraft.
The management team they built also got taken by IGN and was responsible for a good part of IPL.
Wow, I didn't realize we had masters-level folks in PA. That's pretty awesome.
I need to be better at this game.
We've got like 7 Masters level players at this point, and another third of us are in Diamond.
I am in Silver league, which basically means that I have the equivalent skill, were the average forumers not godlike adonii, of a retard banging his head against a brick wall.
Which reminds me of a ladder game I played against this Terran the othe
I have a grandmaster friend who I beat because I called him at the start of the game right as I started a cannon rush, by the time he was done scurrying for his phone it was too late

Pro level TvT is actually like the most macro-heavy, positioning-heavy, varied matchup in the entire game. It does tend to be very slow and methodical though.
My zombie survival life simulator They Don't Sleep is out now on Steam if you want to check it out.

I think other, non vT matchups might develop a lot more if they were actually played with the frequency TvT is.
I mean, for fuck's sake, look at Code S.

the developing doesn't come from tournament games being played, it comes from practise games, and nothing says they aren't practising generically once they get knocked out of GSL.
Although, to be fair, players would, I imagine, focus their practise around upcoming matches and right now most players are either facing a Terran, or are a Terran, or both.

My point exactly. The chance of facing a Terran in high level (Korean, admittedly) play is seriously ballooning. Unless you're in the Up and Down matches.

Bro I love matlab, it does what you tell it.
Some things don't.
This is a legitimate strategy and I recommend it
No idea why Boxer would try to play two macro games with anyone, let alone Idra.
Such a crazy series. Terran even get the coolest mirror matchup
I'm not a fan of mirror matches, but Terran is easily the one I find most boring.
I think I fell asleep during Puma v.... bomber?
