How Sony killed the PS3

I thought this would be the best place to put this. Most likely you all have seen it, but for those who haven't, it's a song about Sony's total mismanagement of the PS3

I'm not here to start a console flamewar, I just thought the song was amusing.

    Good stuff :) very Wierd Al. Did they really say not to worry about Halo 3 'cos of Killzone2? Would have thought they would learn there lesson after all the bragging they did about the first one being a Halo killer.

    To be fair, I'm expecting that they've learned what lessons they needed to and are going to be working to make KZ2 a good game. Even then though, I think it's irrelevant. Halo is a pretty huge brand. If both games somehow end up being the same quality, loads more people are still going to flock to Halo 3 simply to see the continuing adventures of Master Chief and the conclusion to the storyline. That, plus the fact that it's pretty much accepted wisdom by now (true or false as it may be) that the 350 is the one for console FPS's.

    Look, I'm not trying to defend Sony, I'm just a bit cautious of attempts at 'viral marketing' these days. It's not as if the comments in the video aren't largely true, but they seem to focus exclusively on 360's strong points, so I'm a bit wary of it.

    Also, I have to agree that it seems like it might be a viral marketing piece, since instead of focusing on Sony's faults they kept making reference to how awesome the 360 is (with a few token references to the Wii at the beginning).

    Or it could just be that the guy who made it is an Xbox fan.

    If it is a viral marketing thing, we can at least give Microsoft credit for not making it patently ridiculous like that "All I Want for Xmas is a PSP" crap.

    You said he is an xbox fan. he also talks about the Wii, and lets face it, Live is the benchmark for online play. Comparing other systems to it is a good way to judge it. He doesnt have to love his xbox to think Sony is stupid...
