I about died laughing when the first loading screen i got in the game popped up with the "If you suck at the combat in this game try getting better." Tip.

Random places, mostly in kitchens, in my experience.

There's apparently a limited amount of it in the entire game?

Yeah it says on your character screen in the summoning tab. The total number of summons is the total possible over the course of the game. Macaroni summon I believe is 10 total.

For the first one, do the bar quest to get the darts ASAP. Best weapon for quite a while from the pseudo aoe+bleed damage. If you put gross damage on them as well, you can easily DOT your way to victory in like half the game.

Do the darts come before the Mongolian Bow? Can't remember the ordering, but those two weapons just carry you for most of the start.

using Kyle 1 in this game, it just makes so much sense and he's just so annoying like a kid would be playing heroes.

Also Fartkour, that is a Claaaaassy pun.

The 4 star toilets hurt my hands.

You can't pick a gender in the first one, you're just assumed to be a boy. The second one you can, and even kind of makes a joke about the retcon if you choose a non-male.
    Viskod wrote: »
You also get to also pick sexuality as well as gender later on and can change them both whenever you want.

The game even has religion customization, with a huge list of options. "Jew" and "Orthodox Jew" are both present, for example.

The satire works on multiple levels, because it references not only how most video games tiptoe around the religion of the player character, but also how many video games give you lots of identity customization options that seem like they should be important but ultimately have no impact on anything.

Yeah and the bit where you choose your gender, you have rednecks attack you no matter what you choose, they just change the dialogue a bit.

So it respects player choice just like Mass Effect 3 did a zing

The game will even throw shade if you pick certain combinations. For example, try picking Lawful Scientologist.

Actually, that's true to the show. Those rednecks have threatened people for being considerate, understanding, beautiful, and being a Panda before. It's part of the joke.

Holy shit this game is hilarious, I've literally been in tears at
Kyle's absolute annoyance at Cartman describing Butthole's backstory of mom fucking being a rare thing, but nothing so far has topped Captain Diabetes grinding some guy in the Peppermint Hippo.

Omg, this game. I just started playing:
I go into the basement and start messing with that Cube of Ultimate Destruction (the rubix cube). He kept telling me to stop so of course I didn't. I hit it one more time and boom, I destroy the galaxy and get a game over / roll credits. I freaking love this game

In the sidequest where you have to fight...
    ...Kyle's mom...
...the battle music for the boss fight is an instrumental version of the song...
..."Kyle's Mom's a Bitch" from the episode "Mister Hankey, the Christmas Poo".

Wondering if anyone has tried this yet...
    Mid-game (mid/late day 2) spoilers
So after beating Kyle's cousin the second time; he starts to randomly appear in battle for one round before disappearing.
I noticed the very last time he showed up that he comes in as an enemy though.
Has anyone tried using the Time Pause Fart power in combat to get in free hits and taking a whack at him when he shows up?

  • EvmaAlsarEvmaAlsar Birmingham, EnglandRegistered User regular
    So I beat the game
    Lol but that ended abruptly

    Re: certain characters and race
I was playing a black kid with difficulty set to mastermind the entire game 'cos 1) I'm hardcore and 2) I wanted the token experience achievement, and looking through the achievements there's one for picking a fight with Morgan Freeman. I would occasionally hit and fart on him when I went to his taco shop for more recipes to timefart but he wouldn't aggro me. He even gave me a special black heritage artifact halfway through the game that carried me into the late game. I learned that Morgan Freeman will never, ever fight you if your kid is black. So I guess I'll have to pay PC Principal a visit to adjust my racial identity in the name of 100% completionism

I'm super glad that the collectibles
    yaoi posters
aren't missable behind any locations you can only visit once. I'm looking at you, Stick of Truth chinpokomon.

Would you guys recommend this on PC or PS4? The reviews on steam have been horrific, mainly citing the day one horrors of crash mayhem, but the hype i feel is real...

For the type of game it is any platform will be good, but if you hear it's crashing a lot on steam than it's probably safer to go on console.

  • DonnictonDonnicton Registered User regular
There are soft lock issues on the PC version, though a lot of them are bypassed by alt-tabbing out and back in. It generally only happens in one specific dungeon of the game, the rest of the game it's fine.

This game is WAAAY easier than a lot of streamers have made it look. I'm a little disappointed, though not too much, since Stick of Truth was the same way.

A common theme I see with some streamers is that they tend to be reading their chat comments or something whenever the games flash up big messages like 'don't fight these guys, just run' or 'press A to proceed'.

Nobody remembers the singer. The song remains.

I also haven't seen a streamer yet that wasn't baited into using the summon in response to the dialogue on that one particular fight. I don't know if it was just developer oversight or intentional baiting but it's pretty damn funny.

I love how incredulous Kyle gets with Cartman every time
MC comes up because I'm there with him. But I am totally expecting a swerve because it's too obvious. Thinking about it it's probably gonna be Ben Affleck or Jlo.

Eh. Yes that. But also poor mechanics. I've seen a lot of them use the time-reverse fart to skip enemy turns when they've had the more advanced farts, which can be used to do the same thing. Don't think I've seen a single one open inspection mode in combat. A lot of derping when it comes to telegraphed attacks and walking into them or letting the timed ones smack 'em. Not being able to figure out how to set up knockback positions/heals etc.

I found elementalist and plantmancer op as shit. And then rolled with 3 high damage meleers all game. Everybody has enough mobility moves that combined with a bit of long-range CC and heals for bosses, and the game is a walk. Not quite as much as with Jew plagues and Kyle in SoT, but....
