I don't really buy all the NASL criticism.

Most of it is valid.

Buuuut, it's still the best StarCraft streaming right now.

And the production quality is not as painfully bad as Wolf's commentary.

Yeah less criticism, more I wish more people where there. MLG Providence was packed, Dreamhack was packed.

My first game today, I hit esc to cancel my queued scv so I can get orbital once my first rax finishes... and accidentally cancel my barracks. I unsurprisingly lose relatively soon after
My second game, I'm running 4 hellions into his main and accidentally hit the menu and surrender.

His Visa ran out and he was in the UK for a month while getting a new one, he didn't play at all during that period. He's heading back to the EG house after NASL I believe.

There was nothing wrong with demuslim mechanically he was just making poor decisions. You shouldn't trade your tanks like that if you're playing mech. It probably works for him against worse players on ladder but Thorzain is a baller who isn't going to lose to awkwardly aggressive mech play.

I think you guys are overreacting. The break between these matches is long but these intro movies showing the climb are pretty good and I'm way too interested in what music every player picks on their red carpet stride. They're a little gimmicky but there's some good things that NASL is throwing in.

I agree that the NASL could use some improvements but I hope there's some exaggeration going on here.

One thing I'm happy about with the NASL Finals is that the participants will be getting a shitload of money, and that's kinda motivating me to watch even when I don't find some of it that interesting.

I agree the intro videos are pretty good. And the red carpet stuff's amusingly awkward, goofy but not really a problem.

for my mind there is nothing hugely wrong with this finals. the production quality isnt quite as good as the others, but its okay.

The main thing is just that no one cares about this overall league. There's too many games and each game feels meaningless. This event right now could be a standalone tournament and it would be exactly as interesting.

Blue flame is totally worth the investment and makes lings a NON issues rather than the first push getting stopped pretty effortlessly.
