    Well folks, Tribes Ascend is practically launched now. It's still a "closed beta", but if you like their Facebook page you can a key from now till late January, which is when they were supposed to release anyway.

    I updated the OP and title.. since the game is basically out. The people on the fence can go to Facebook and get a free key.

    They put out a patch this week that really changes the game, by slowing down rifle/pistols a bit and bumping up the speed of projectiles based on player movement. ... so it's a lot more like Tribes 1 now in terms of feel.
