Exercises for enunciation

Someone asked me to help them work on their enunciation as part of some public speaking training. He is in high school, and knows that losing his smooshed together urban cadence would help him in the long run. I've introduced him to IPA and mouth shapes, but I'd like to be able to give him some vocal exercises or warm ups that he can do on his own. Google provides a host of suggestions, but can anyone here suggest something they've found especially useful?

edit: I've also given him a cork to shove between his rear teeth to stretch his jaw and get the back of his mouth to open up.
