Needs me replace one printer

So, I have this HP Photosmart C4580. It loves to drop the wireless connection to my wife's computer, and it sometimes loses the USB connection with mine too. It also LOVES to tell us that we have the wrong size envelopes when we try to print out envelopes for our Christmas cards. So, before I pour gas on it and set it on fire, can someone recommend me a printer that works correctly when I press the print button?

Needs to connect to two computers, as trouble free as possible. Preferably without needing to turn it off and on EVERY FUCKING TIME I want to print something.
Needs to not argue with me about envelope size.
Reasonable pricing and the ability to print photos would also be nice.

If this had been an actual alien invasion, you would have protected as many as SOME of your population. Congratulations.

How often do you really need to print in color? Because I'm in love with my Brother B&W laser printer.

Yeah ditching the color part of my printer was a godsend. Then just picking up a laser jet with toner was the best thing I've ever done. Thing will last me forever.

Also, those photo printers at Walgreens and CVS are pretty hard to beat, cost/quality wise.

Hmmm. We like being able to print out pictures here, but I will consider the b&w option.

There are color lasers, but you're looking at... $300 minimum?
