There is nothing more awkward than explaining to your friends who are talking to you on Skype from a New Year's party in New York that the reason they don't see posters on your wall is because you are talking to them from your laptop in the bathroom of your house

And that they have to speak slowly so that you can concentrate

Obviously without the internet I would not have a husband or my current, great job, and I'd probably still be in the UK, so it's affected me a great deal

Technology pretty much guarantees I can never be bored any more. Technology's also saving me money, what with Netflix and services like Steam making movies and games cheaper and more accessible

Technology pretty much means you can have a phone phobia and still get by; hurrah for online applications and forms!

today technology kept my food cold while I was off playing games with friends and then made it hot in like a minute when I decided to eat

while I washed a giant pile of dishes I listened to a radio station specifically tailored to only play music I like, because I plugged my tiny pocket communicator into a docking station that filled the room with sound

then later it showed me moving pictures of complete strangers fucking
