It's not that dangerous.

You'll get bruises and someone will break something maybe once a season, but it's not like every bout features an ambulance

why are most of the people standing on the sideline or something? i dont get it. it also looks like only the black team is trying to score and the green team is always trying to block?

-edit- only referencing first 2 minutes, i have a short attention span

The green team's jammer was in the penalty box, I think. When the ones with stars on their helmets pass opposing players, they're either in the process of getting points or trying to become eligible to score (you have to pass the pack legally once first).

Most of the team is on the sideline because only 5 people from each team are on the track at a given time, but 14 can be on the roster (1 pivot, 1 jammer, 3 blockers). The other people standing around are the audience, we don't have bleachers; that's a national guard armory we derbify.
