I think I'm heading out for supper tonight, but I (hopefully) highly doubt we'll be out until 10 pm. But if for some reason I'm not here at the start time, that's the likely cause of why I'm missing.
Best regards to noble Dukes and Kings of this world. My cousin and I want to join your crusade, could we? We are experienced rulers and looking for other players. Glad to find You. Please contact us on e-mail admin.morph@gmail.com or ICQ 200199101 if its possible to join into your game, or be a part of some new cycle in future. Thank you.

Okay so that's what happens when I win the war against Bohemia for my son: he does become a King and takes away 2 provinces from me (ones I've already given him in his Duchy) and 1 province from Bohemia. But the bulk of the rest of Bohemia reverts to a Duchy while my son steals their Kingdom title from him. So in effect it creates two Bohemia's: the Kingdom and the Duchy. Awesome.
Oh, that's why you declined my war invitation. Okay. We're going to have to figure out some way to restore the alliance, since it gets broken with a declined call to war. Also, I can't take the crown of southern Iberia, because Al-Andalus is Muslim-only.
The Irish conquest of Scotland is proceeding smoothly, despite an unwelcome land grab by the Lancastrians.

All Lombardia has done for the past 20 years or so is help other players out via assassination or the occasional shared war with Italy. We haven't expanded in several years, because my chancellor is too incompetent to fabricate a claim, and all my relations are too old to marry into claims. Yawn.
Sicily has been engaging in an ambitious public works program. Our capital, Rogeria (formerly Palermo), is now the wealthiest province in the world (though undoubtably Phyphor's Brugge will eventually surpass it again). Additionally, we have successfully crusaded in the Levant and have reclaimed the holy city of Jerusalem for Christendom.

Okay I've been a bit overcautious when figuring out how late I'd be.
In other news, Lombardia AI is a dick. As soon as I won my son Bohemia he attacked him over Toscana and stole my 2 provinces away. Shalmelooooooooo!

Italy updates! Here's the current state of Italy at the end of last night at 1155:
As you can see, almost completely consolidated except for a pair of Carinthian provinces (which somehow broke away from Baden) and that sole remaining Baden province that I haven't been bothered to recapture. I also have a claim on Orvietto but I prefer not to anger the Pope by invading him so meh. And here's the ruler that's made all of this possible:
He may be slow, and currently stressed, and most times Ill (please stop getting Ill) but I've grown to like him. Lots of children, mostly daughters! except recently with that stupid second son, but he's lived long enough for me to consolidate everything under my rule.
And then there's this guy, my future ruler and current Einstein:
Behold the Ubermensch. He's currently stressed (I haven't the blazest idea why) so he's less perfect than normal but he's the beautiful son I hope lives a long and happy and productive life. Most important out of that screenshot is the highlighted claim. I don't know how but my son managed to get hold of a claim on the Kingdom of Bohemia. So naturally I've gone to war to press it for him. This will mean that once I win the war my son will be out of my control and take two provinces (his current Duchy) with him, but since I'm going to be playing as him later that's a small price to pay for gaining a second Kingdom title.
And finally, here's the other nice thing that's currently happened to Italy:
With some luck, we'll be moving into the Emperor's big house. This actually creates a qaundry for me. On the one hand I want my current ruler to die after I win the war for Bohemia so I can gain two Kingdoms. On the other hand I want my current ruler to live a long time so I can gain the entire HRE. I expect shalmelo to respond to this with no sympathy
I think my income is just short of that because antipopes are hilariously broken. Of course, when the new patch hits that's going to make me sad.

So, Queen Badia the Able's long and prosperous reign ended bloodily. First, her heir died. I'm pretty sure he was assassinated. Then, I paid Carrot to off my new, non-dynastic heir. That made my granddaughter my new heir, and she just happened to be in a non-matrilineal marriage. So I successfully killed her husband, then my assassins botched the assassination of her child, leading to nearly everyone rebelling. Shortly afterward the Queen was found dead; she was old but I suspect foul play.

Yikes, being the Emperor is nuts. Not only do you get spammed whenever any of your vassals usurp titles, go to war, etc. but you also get a billion plots filling up your intrigue bar.
Also, apparently the Emperor can revoke Kingdom titles in the HRE...so long as the Kingdom title in question allows revokation. So if your Kingdom title never goes above Autonomous Vassals he'll never be able to take it from you regardless of the HRE's laws. Of course he can still unilaterally imprison you.

Yea and apparently killing you doesn't end your wars, nor does it spark an internal vassal revolt even though almost every single one of your vassals drops to -30 or worse with the child Queen on the throne of France. Boggles my mind.
Courtesy of the work I really don't want to do and will use any excuse to procrastinate on, I present to you
The State of the Known World, 1165
complete with the scribblings of my inner second grader.
Christendom (and soon to be conquered saved infidels)
Ain't it purdy? 'Cept for those two big gray 'n purple scabs that call themselves empires, I mean.
The British Isles
The Kingdom of Ireland (enlightenedbum)
Good ol' King May-Ell-Brig-Tuh the Second. Got a damn fine beard, that one. FYI, the green tumor growing out of his face is supposed to be four-leaf clover.
Not since the latest patch it doesn't. Assassinating Sicily's enemies still does, though.
Not bad. Not bad 'tall.
The Duchy of Lancaster (PolloDiablo)
No doubt the Duke of Lancaster is already measuring the drapes for the English throne room. Not that I blame him.
Pretty decent income. Curious to see whether it goes up or down once he takes the English throne, given all the ducal titles he'll have to give out.
Perfectly respectable, in keeping with English Saxon traditions.
The so-called Holy Roman Empire
I'd call it the evil empire, but I already call the Byzantines that.
The Kingdom of France (Phyphor)
Behold, the man who has made Christendom tremble -- the Redheaded Rampager, the Furious Frank, the Avenger of Auvergne (he owns or vassalizes Auvergne, right?), King Alwin of France!
Heh, indeed.
That's a little scarier.
The Kingdom of Italy (Aegis)
He ain't the prettiest ruler 'round, and he sure as hell ain't the smartest, but I reckon that boy Lumbert's turned out alright.
Three duchies instead of two. What is this mad new trend?
I have nothing to say about this.
The Duchy of Lombardy (shalmelo)
Alas, poor Aldobrandino. Fated to remain a Duke for all eternity, it seems.
I am running out of things to say but I want to keep the picture then comment format I've got here going.
In case you're wondering why this screen is different from the others, I wasn't able to scroll over to Lombardy in the HRE realm screen.
Iberia
The Kingdom of Aragon (Captain Carrot)
Gotta admit, he looks like a pretty damn good ruler. Not sure if I'd go so far as "Holy" though.
Only two duchies. Excellent.
See what I did there?
The United Kingdoms of Castile, Leon, and Portugal (jdarksun)
He really doesn't.
You kids with your rap music and your three duchies.
That's a good, round, amount.
And last, but certainly not least:
The Triple Kingdom of Sicily, Africa, and Mauretania (Yours Truly)
While Nikarete's stats may seem mediocre (especially in comparison to her younger sister), her Greekness disappointing, and her vassals rebellious, in five years or so I guarantee you she will be yet another great Sicilian ruler.
Had around 800 before Queen Badia died. We'll get back there soon.
Some consolidation of Scotland required there. Also actually being King of Scotland.

So I know I'm far too late to join into this fantastic extravaganza that is Crusader Kings II multiplayer, but are there any plans in place for a secondary campaign after this one?
I'd have no problem with you joining now, though you'd be at a bit of a disadvantage as far as planning goes, and the server might not like having 9 people too much.

But as a short preview: the HRE is going bonkers and has conquered half of Scandinavia including moving the capital to Finland.

Alliances, for some stupid reason, are based solely on marriages between close relatives, and right now I don't have any who can get married.

Flanders is basically filthy rich (mayor of brugge is so low because he's incapable and ruling 3 cities with a demense of 2)

I may start paying some cash to develop my vassals cities too (so far, that's all them, not a penny on cities other than building new ones)
