It's ok, if you decided to save your money and just read a plot summary for it you'd probably be fine. But if you need to have more mass effect 2 its not bad.

Like you know how Shepard is supposed to be the cosmic hard ass that is an unstoppable juggernaut
but Arrival was the first time I was like god damn
And yeah it is Shepard solo, but you get some badass convos still
I didn't like it as much as shadow broker, but it was still well worth the dollars

Which makes perfect sense, since the reason you're sent out solo is because Hacket wants to avoid drawing attention towards the alliance, which tends to happen when a full squad moves in. So he just sends in Shepard. So starting the DLC out like a Stealth game makes perfect sense.
I have to say, the whole atmosphere of the base you start out on is just splendid, too.

Dunno what to tell you, if I'm ranking my favorite parts of ME2 Arrival ranks pretty far down. Not that its bad but it doesn't stand out for me like LotSB or overlord did.
