    what really makes the geth interesting for me is their conflict with the quarians

    outside of that I think some of the other races are cooler

    I like the geth on the Quarian homeworld, the ones that are really nice, even though the quarians don't realize it

    I don't like the geth that shoot me in the face

    I like all the races in the ME series

    least favorite is probably Asari

    I get their deal and it's an interesting concept but they just come off as so fanservice-y to me

    yeah, it's hard to get past the sexy blue alien thing

    but two of my favorite characters are asari

    the bar matriarch and aria t'loak

    they both do a good job subverting the whole sexy animu girl thing

    I like the design and idea of turians

    but outside of nihlus and maybe general septimus I can't think of a turian I actually liked

    UTOPIA SYSTEM – A massive influx of batarian ships is raising tensions in the Exodus Cluster, putting Alliance forces on high alert. According to Alliance officials, the ships came from the batarian-held Harsa relay with minimal warning, some barreling right through. The Alliance reportedly fired on some of the ships with the intent to disable them.

    “It’s a miracle any of them are still alive,” one human frigate captain said. According to the batarians, they are neither invaders nor defectors, but refugees. They claim a hostile species has attacked the Hegemony’s fleet, bombarding Khar’shan and other batarian planets.

    With the Harsa comm buoy system crippled, communication is sporadic at best between far-flung batarians and their government on Khar’shan. Some refugees claim the attackers were Council. Others blame the geth or even the rachni. All report that the enemy, in whatever form, is blockading the relay, destroying most spacecraft trying to make it through. The refugees are not solely civilians. Hegemony Commander, Eruz Mathat, who is under guard while his cruiser is inspected, was blunt in his assessment of the situation. “I never thought I would say this to the human navy,” he said, “but we need you.”

    I'm still hoping for a Vorcha team mate. You have to wrestle him back into his crate at the end of every mission and all his dialogue is snarling and Paragon interrupts to stop him mauling whoever you're talking to.

    A Renegade interrupt is not stopping him.

    people like to play the hero and aria didn't play into that worship as much. Is how I read the post.

    An aside, I liked Aria's approach to Shepard and her in general.

    her expanded verse version seems kinda lame from what I've read though... (just summaries)
