I am extremely confused as to what is happening here. I want to buy the box set of the whole series, and not spend $120 on just 'sagas', which have several releases i.e. uncut, full uncut. I don't understand what is happening here.

I then saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up8xJ2DCdQo&mode=related&search=

So what is going on? Am i going to be able to get the whole series in one box set? This is very frustrating for me. Thanks for any advice.

The whole series? That is a lot of episodes bud. The reason they are sold in sagas (seasons) is because it is how they were aired. Any type of show is released like this. (generally)

It's always been Sagas. Also, yeah, it's about 291 episodes. Not going to be cheap.

Although I would like that remastered version, only if they kept the music from the US broadcast.
Just for Vegeta's theme, which was used a lot during the Buu saga. DUN DUN DUUN DUN DUN DE DUUUN

It's talking about that. The series is being rereleased in box sets one 'saga' (or ya know, season) at a time. The video has been retransferred from the original source into a wide screen (16x9) aspect ratio. There are three audio tracks, English w/ the music from US broadcast TV, English w/ the original Japanese music (Which fans have been clamoring for for AGES), and Japanese. The English audio is in Dolby 5.1, and the Japanese is in 2.0. There are English subtitles. These episodes are uncut.
Sounds pretty good to me, for 35 bucks.
