[CYOA] Operation Mongoose, Phase 2.5 : Red Alert!
Posts
Movement : Standby
Communications : Standby
Crew : Disintegrate Gunship wreckage. Inject 3 Redshirt teams
History : Kincaid Rail
You can specify that you want to shoot first.
I vote to not kill our own security teams with our plasma cannons.
The Infinity Machine is destroyed, as are both of the Ghetties. There is some more molten uranium, marked as before, on the road ahead.
Options:
- Spend 1power to open a channel with any radar contact.
- Spend 1 power to move forward 1 space.
- Spend 1 power to disintegrate the low performance vehicle, converting it into Alloy Sheets & Engine Components.
- Spend up to 4 power to disintegrate some or all of The Infinity Machine and collect the useful stuff (each power spent will remove 1 'I' icon from the radar. You can specify which ones you want to grab if you don't want them all.
- Deploy a security team in the low performance vehicle (moves 1 space/turn) to investigate Steiner Petroleum or investigate Kincaid Rail
Historical Exposition:
You may vote to read the historical data for any one of the following keywords (does not require any power):

I am thinking admin just because we wouldnt need to clean up the mess up north and the rail yard doesn't sound that great.
I don't know, reading about the railyards they seem like an ideal place to stock up on goods. It may not necessarily be ammunition, but if we can get stuff to build an APC for our tactical or security teams, it might be worth it.
If fallout games have taught be anything, train stations are full of useful things. Also lots of tin cans.
Come to think of it, making an APC out of a reclaimed freight car sounds amazing.
Options:
- Spend 1power to open a channel with any radar contact.
- Spend 1 power to move forward 1 space (if you wish, you may move up 2 space and then turn right to head for the Admin sector)
- Spend 1 power to disintegrate the low performance vehicle, converting it into Alloy Sheets & Engine Components.
- Deploy a security team in the low performance vehicle (moves 1 space/turn) to investigate Steiner Petroleum or investigate Kincaid Rail

I noticed the Gun parts weren't added to the High Value Materiel section, and speaking of which, will we be able to manufacture something with this stuff or perhaps upgrade/repair ourselves should it be needed?

You guys will be able to use the junk to make things by using Tech teams to download schematics from different buildings that you explore.

I'd like information on Big Ghetty. We've been slagging a bunch of little Ghetty's, but I'm thinking a big one might show up and want answers.

By the way, what will happen when we get into close contact with the rolling ghetty? Or did it stop?
It is still rolling. It will explode against your treads.
EDIT: Confirms that suggesting Rogers move behind us is a good idea. Don't want them getting all caught up in that mess.
It will continue forward until it hit something or it rolls off of the map.
You can always shoot it, of course.

*If the secondary battery is "free" then I'd fire that rather that consuming ammo, but I can't remember if it is.
Deploying Security teams into a potential explosion seems..inefficient.. so would be best to keep 'em on standby, at least until the road is clear of hostiles.
