Work situation that I was not part of but its getting to me.
Basically I work in a small company that's rather dysfunctional. I was informed one coworker slapped a post it note on another employee's forehead, in a rant of her not stuff done. The person who did the "crime" is known to be difficult to work with and everyone avoids her. Not sure if my coworker reported the situation but I am really bothered that someone can think this is acceptable. I don't know how to get over it or I am just in total shocked because in 10 years I have been in this industry I have seen a lot of things but this was complete mind-blowing. I don't know what to do? I am offended for her or want to fight her battle but obviously its not my battle. The best thing I did for the victim was compliment her about her weight training results (we are both weight trainers).
Basically I am coming here to vent and ask how can I move past this because I don't want to start work on Monday on a bad note. Any advice how to move on?

Well, you are right--it's not your battle. You already know that this one co-worker is a shitheel, so chalk it up to their unsavory personality and move on. Regardless of what happens with them, you still have a job to do.
