I thought Nintendo and Amazon were in a bit of a fight, to the point where Amazon was downplaying Nintendo's products? But.. amazon has an app day 1 on the service?

For the record, Walmart here in north Jersey ended up with 4 whites and 2 deluxes for sale, outside of preorders. We only got a sixth person in line around 11:00. Super easy. They had Mario, Ninja Gaiden, and a couple of other filler titles. No ZombieU, no Scribblenauts.

Ok so. I got an awesome job after being unemployed for a while. I haven't really cared at all for the WiiU but now that I know I will have some income once again...and that gamestop is across the street, whats the fancy on this? The Zombie game looks neat but for everything else I ether own it on another platform/don't care about Nintendos IP's. Guessing I should just wait and not let impulse take over?

Sometimes I wish that Peer2Peer was a valid transport for stuff like this...

Yeah, if you won't be satisfied with a big Nintendo game and one or two good third patty games every year, it's unwise to take a gamble on the Wii U: we still don't know how devs and publishers are going to handle the Wii U/PS4/Xbox3 technological split, and if the Wii is any indication... yeah, definitely not for you.

Not that I'm saying it's going to be like that for sure, but it's an unwise gamble if you don't care for Nintendo games and can already play the 2012/2013 third party games on your current system.

Dare I say that everything the Gamespot reviewer just complained about...I would probably love? It's a survival game trying to mimic real world things that attempts to stay engaging without feeling like a ploy to waste time. Inventory control sounds awesome the way it's built, and mimics scavenging quite well.

I have had some hands on with the game, but not to the extent of this reviewer. Still...I think that I'll come away with a better outlook of ZombieU than him in the end.

E: I also think Darlan is a little off base, too. But, opinion and all that.

I can see having to use the exact same couple of moves with a cricket bat over and over getting old fast, but yeah that guy REALLY seemed to want an acation game and was listing exactly what everyone wishes the Resident Evil games would get back to as complaints.

Well, I was the first person in line at my local Wal-Mart to grab a Wii U. At about 12:05, as there are a few of us waiting in line, the manager calmly comes out and explains he has no idea where the fuck the systems are, he can only find the games for them, and he won't know where they're at until the stockers come in in the morning. He apologized profusely, and wrote us all raincheck vouchers to pick up the systems tomorrow once they're found.

At least I'm guaranteed a system, and he was so nice that it's hard to be upset about it.
