they're kinda weird.

Animals that have them also do weird things

There, doctors discovered she had "12 small, white spindle-shaped, bug-like organisms stuck in the mucous membrane of the tongue, cheek and gingival (gums)," according to New Zealand's Stuff website.

At first, doctors thought the organisms were parasites because they were still moving during the examination, Stuff reported Friday.

They later concluded the organisms were squid spermatophores, the semen sacks that male squid transfer to female squid to impregnate them.

They've even got cats apparently:

SE++, do you like tentacles? Do you think they're weird, or do you think they're disgusting creepy things?

An octopus has a highly complex nervous system, only part of which is localized in its brain. Two-thirds of an octopus's neurons are found in the nerve cords of its arms, which have limited functional autonomy. Octopus arms show a variety of complex reflex actions that persist even when they have no input from the brain.[10] Unlike vertebrates, the complex motor skills of octopuses are not organized in their brain using an internal somatotopic map of its body, using a non-somatotopic system unique to large-brained invertebrates.[11] Some octopuses, such as the mimic octopus, will move their arms in ways that emulate the shape and movements of other sea creatures.

That seems like a really bad idea. I will now look into this extensively out of curiosity.

speaking of tentacles and pets though, jellyfish are now kept as pets relatively easily. http://jellyfishart.com/

ok, which is your favorite bond actor?

clearly the only right answer is sean connery

Don't listen to Buttlord. As usual, he is terrible. None of Moore's Bond films are stellar by any measure, but they are all very entertaining and Octopussy is no different.

    I've heard this before

    I don't remember where

    but i've heard it...

from basically anyone who has a non-asinine opinion of bond movies

the best one is still the first half of dr. no, before they hit the island

i want an entire movie of that, just james bond being good at being a spy and not needing gadgets or doing crazy chases or whatever

i mean casino royale was close but no cigar
