UPDATE: You don't have to be a customer apparently!
Where they give a bunch of money to local charities that are nominated by their customers. We totally have one of those! If you're a chase customer you can log into
https://www.chasegiving.com/ and nominate Child's Play. The more votes it gets now, the higher on the ballot it'll be when voting opens in July which is obviously crucial in our endeavour to get that money to sick kids rather than other, evil charities such as huskie painting or training guide-hitlers for the blind.
Thanks go to forumer

It didn't ask me to log in, but maybe it remembers me somehow from the main account site.
Done and done.
tube you have the soul of a poet
(probably)
That's okay. You're getting a legion of minions on it. "What, you won't let me nominate my favorite charity?? To the Sticky button!"
Never try to put an obstacle between Tube and his goal.
You're supposed to only be able to vote in the preliminary nomination round if you have a Chase.com login. Now, I'm sure the IT department isn't perfect, so there may be workarounds / exploits which allow non-customers to vote. I can't tell you that I condone using those exploits... but it's not like I can stop anyone so... ^_-
If you've logged into Chase.com lately and haven't cleared your cookies and such, it's possible that the site auto-logs you in, so keep that in mind. Also, there are reports of old user data still working, so if you used to have an account, you can always try that out.
Finally... please spread the word as much as you can. I really, REALLY, REALLY want to see Child's Play take one of the top spots for this; I don't think the actual monetary breakdown percentages for placements have been revealed yet, but over $5 million is on the line right now, so that's serious money that would go a long way. PM your forum friends. Cross-post on other gaming forums / sites. Post on Facebook and Twitter. Blog, harass your friends, whatever you have to do to get the word out.
Thank you for voting, if you already have, and thank you in advance for voting, because you had better in the future... :P

or, installed the app i guess?
Done and done. Glad to see the community putting effort into helping kids ;-)
cool
I'm still infracted for that thread... -_-;
Ain't that a shame.
Grow up.

i mean if it's like super shitty charities like I dunno, fuckin George Bush Presidential Library Foundation then yeah sure, whatever, Child's Play deserves it
but if voting for it we're voting out like the fuckin Red Cross or some shit that really ain't that cool, since you're urging us to stuff the ballot over charities that like... actually save lives and shit
1,000 word essay on my desk by Monday, please.
it's a legit question, what's the quality of the voting pool
i don't understand how that's not a legit question
for reference I consider CP to be a p cool charity but I mean, there are more important charities out there doing more important work that those dollars could be better spent on
And that is a pretty goosey thing to be saying, IMO.
on a personal level i really dont give a shit what you donate to. shit changes when we go to a corporate sponsorship level, which is the point i am making
and i clarified my point. it's p crystal clear. somehow getting "don't ever donate to CP in any form" out of "what's the quality of the voting pool" is an insane way to interpret my point

the list of charities is literally whatever charities you can think of
i'm not sure why you would say that someone choosing Child's Play over whatever other charity you deem more important is "not cool" but you are free to choose basically whatever other charity comes to mind
It's a write-in nomination. The popular ones will be on the list of potential votes in July
