At 3:47, Quinns uses my home state's name's alternate pronunciation, which is particularly apt given our recent heatwave.

At 8:12, did Paul say that there were 52 American states?

    Yes, yes he did.

Guys, I've got absolutely no idea why I said "Fifty-two American states." I genuinely have no memory of saying that and I don't know why I even ever would.

This is an incredibly weird, weird thing for me to watch myself say and I can't even claim that I was trying to make some strange, in-character joke. I can only apologise for what must be another symptom of my ongoing descent into madness.

I had just assumed he meant the game took washington d.c. and puerto rico into consideration or something

Loving the show, but please-oh-please get some better lighting and sound equipment. You could get away with some great stuff for about $200 (not sure what that is in pounds :D), but really, its the sound that's most important. A boom mic and a buddy who can hold it up and preferably a seperate recording device would be excellent and boost the quality of these videos about 3000% (those are exact numbers, I did the math). Again, love the show guys, carry on!

I was expecting this to be Ameri-trash game, but now I'm interested! It looks amazing, sounds challenging, and I can't wait to see Paul in Tabletop with Wil! :)

But this is it, I might not be the brightest brick on the block, but I do know that DC wasn't voting back then and also I'm pretty sure that the rich port never gets electoral votes in a Presidential election. There's no excuse for it, I made a really silly mistake and somehow short-circuited my own brain. I must apologise, mostly to myself, because this is now out there, on the internet, forever.

The internet forgives you. I know because I'm technopathic.

good episode, loved seeing it on shutupshow.com, figured it was made as an individual episode for PATV.

This reminds me of Die Macher, another political simulation game. It's lengthy, meaty, has a lot of cool mechanics, and for all appearances is a great game. But I'm not excited to play it again.

Call me crazy, but it appears to me that the lighting and sound (probably) are designed to evoke the documentaries of the 60s, especially the use of chiaroscuro. [psst... it's on purpose]
