Anno 2070 looks fucking stunning. I'm loving it. I fucking hate amazon 3rd party though. I ordered a controller last Monday, it shipped on Tuesday and still hasn't arrived. It's been 7 business days and it was only coming from England.

I've sent stuff to England in 2 days using regular post. Goddamn.

once I hit level 50 and bought all the upgrades, SR3 got boring for me. I was gonna go do side missions, but I don't really feel like it anymore

it was pretty fun while it lasted though!

The second part there? Something weird happened in my game and I had to get out of the car or something and it interrupted the whole sequence and I was devestated.

The resource management is driving me nuts. It feels like I'm doing a huge amount of construction to just barely meet my requirements, and then one of the twenty different things I'm trying to produce falls behind and progress just halts. I just got to a mission where I have to build for all three factions, and of course all three have almost entirely incompatible requirements, ugh.

When I first started playing I had no idea what was going on. I watched a YouTube vid by some dude to see how he played it. I think I spent almost 3 hours on a mission the other day. I haven't had to build for all 3 factions yet. I only had to work with 2 in the campaign.

I think my problem was trying to rush things. There doesn't seem to be any sort of time limit so I've just taken to sitting back and working my way up.

Plus I don't like to dedicate all my free time into just one damn game. They're fucking videogames, not sports. They're supposed to be fun!

I'll grant that people like games like that because they have fun getting real good at something and then stomping face, but ehh. The time proposition to get good is a bit much for me.

maybe and also possibly not it has been forever since I played and I dont remember every really "mastering" the system as much as finding some stuff that kept enemies off balance enough that I could just do my thing

Yeah, I stopped playing today and went for a walk because I was feeling pretty terrible about playing since I woke up.

If you are at the part I think you are, the secret is that you can kill the pods that are popping out the exploding balls.
