This game is full of giant robots shooting lasers at each other...for free. And thats pretty much all you need to know about this game to enjoy it.


But if you really care, it's got thousands of years of history behind it. And a whole slew of extremely successful games before it.

The closed beta is running now, and it'll be at PAX so we should all be excited and talk about how awesome it is.

Also if you are playing in the closed beta let me know and I will start a list

    It's weird to me that MechWarrior is not really a brand that has any resonance with today's teenage gamers.

    Anyway, this looks neat. I doubt my PC could handle it, though.

    Well...The Founder's packages are going to end soon.

    So if you've got anywhere from $30 - $120 to spend to get into a closed beta, which you have no idea how long it's going to last, or the open, before it launches...it can be a pretty good deal. Plus all the shit you get once the game goes live (also, throughout the beta and reset with the patches)

    I've no regrets.
