Michael Clarke Duncan was one of my favorites and I will be sad about this for awhile. It's going to be a good length of time before I can watch a movie with him in it without being sad.
I was just wondering who would be Hollywood's new go-to guy for the role of "gigantic black dude".
Only after they cast the Rock for a while until they realize they can't really pin down what nationality he is and find the answer they were looking for was in front of them the whole time. Danny Trejo.
There have been more celebrity death threads in the last 9 months than there have been in any single year.
I mean, I kinda assume that as the population increases, the death rates increases.
As the number of celebrities rises, the more need to die to make room. With all of your reality tv shows and slutty rich girls and whatnot making people famous for nothing, other famous people need to die off to make room. It's the circle of life, and I believe Sir Elton John wrote a song about it.

Clarke Duncan was consistently great, even in bad films
Anyone see Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li? Best part of that movie

I have just been reading The Green Mile for the first time over the last couple of weeks, so he's been in my mind quite frequently (very hard to dissociate his image from the character when reading it). Very sad to hear of this.

Daredevil was shitty, except for him.
He was the perfect casting for Kingpin.
I actually was hopeful about Marvel getting the DD license back, just so he could be Kingpin.
Fuck.
Fuck.
Fuck.

For some reason I assumed he was in The Dark Knight, that prisoner who throws the detonator out the boat window, hm.
Nope, that's President Lindberg.
I know I already wouldn't be able to watch the Green Mile again without crying like a distraught child, because of his performance as John Coffey. Now I just won't be able to stop until I'm out of tears.
Damn it. I think the last time I saw him in something it was in a stroke awareness ad? Been a while since I saw a movie he starred in, so I guess I'm going to go watch The Green Mile again

It's sad to hear the Kingpin shuffling off this mortal coil. He was awesome in so many things.

my feeling exactly
him as the Kingpin in a new Punisher movie would've been amazing
I just watched Talladega Nights. He was great there. Now I just get sad when I remember his awesome gags.
That's fucking terrible.

Congratulations on being kind of racist.
I used to have some friends that were really big into WWE wrestling so I went over their house to watch Wrestlemania a few years ago.
Booker T comes on screen and one of the girls there asks, "Is that Michael Clarke Duncan?"
