Star Trek Online is just a huge source for great looking screenshots for people who think space is pretty. The skill point pop up bugs me though, wish I knew how to remove it but I'm dumb at photoshop.
Re-posted from main TSW thread; here are the main pics:
Amelia came to Kingsmouth academy seeking answers. All she found was an old building over run with out of control magic
That and a pile of what used to be the majority of staff. Shame, but Amelia would vow to look into it one day, if she had time and this damn Ak'ab would stop begging to be allowed to eat the corpse. She had half a mind to shoot the bloody thing and be done with it; but no, Templar research into species mental capacities so it will be tolerated.
I also really need to re-bind my screen shot key so all my Amelia shots don't have the selection ring around her.
And I thought mine was defaultly alt f11, having it be just f11 will really help me get some better action shots (something I've being struggling with).
Wish I had a better PC to show the game off better. It's very set-piecey.
Yeah, but it's round the hell portals in Savage Coast I think. I don't tend to pick up side missions very often. You know, because they tend to be more mundane feeling than the main missions and I get enough XP from the mains. Unless I think I'll be in the same area (like the lobster cages in Tolba Bay) as the main mission I don't pick them up.
Sides, I already did my photo of the hell beach. I think it was actually the first picture I posted of TSW.
There's actually one that's a main mission. It's part of the one called "The Draculesti" in Shadowy Forest, and is one I repeat for AP/SP (but mostly AP). The area is...
I love how everyone takes that shot in The Darkness Wars.
I didn't realize until too late, but next time I am there I am going into first-person and taking a shot of just the void, which will then be my desktop

Haha, that reminds me of when TERA came out, before GW2, and the huge ordeal of "OMG TERA IS LIKE PORN" and now that it's GW2 no one says anything about the idiotic female armor/boob showing.
although GW2 doesn't have tiny sexualized cat things so there's that too.
i wish there were even more encounters like this than there are, as they are very fun:

I was watching that thing fly around the zone earlier, I need to be around when the events start happening. Maybe tomorrow!
As for the sexualised armour thing - I have trouble playing my Norn Elementalist, the least sexualised armour I could find for her look like pajamas made out of assless chaps and a thong.
There's a selection of fully-covering tops in GW2 for every armor class. Ain't no thing to get the look you want.
5/8 of the dungeon sets are in fact completely non-scanty for light armor, and barely any of the tops are as booby as the vest above. There's a lot of options to build your character's look.
That being said, the vest above is hella cleavage.
Some of the GW2 armors are silly, especially ones that are supposed to be heavy/medium armor. It is still nothing like the nonsense that is in Tera though.
I can kinda respect Tera for it's balls deep approach 'no one is going to have clothing now get over it' is at least a stance.
GW2 has alot of stuff that's mixed and players leveling will find themselves switching style a good few times.
This is why you roll Charr, because they can't skimpify that shit up.

Medium armour on human/norn females at least has the coat options.
Light armour? Pick a summery miniskirt and bra, or pajamas that look like Ann Summers trying to be modest (and failing). To run around in snowy mountains.
There is a reason that my Norn Elementalist (female) is level 11 and I tend to pick other characters to play at login. I was hoping for stuff like fur-lined cloaks and chunky woolen leggings, but it turns out that this is reserved for NPCs in town clothing.

I'm pretty glad they didn't try.
Speaking of which, I remember seeing a female character in TSW wearing a tiny suit vest and the smallest smiley pasties on her tits the other day. I think O_o was my exact reaction.

there's plenty of conservative light armor, it's like a 75/25 skimpy to not as skimpy ratio, with heavy and medium being the opposite

To clarify, not my character. I'd never spend money on such a thing. Just wow.

Default screenshot key is F11, so it's not that- it's the fact that you have to press ALT (+Z) to hide the UI that selects you.
Just click your mouse on an empty space to remove the ring before taking the shot.
I don't have a screenshot, but there was a time when my character bugged and I had twin assault rifles...

I just wanna go photo all the creatures in their natural environments.
More likely I'll get bored one day and wonder if the agro range on that QL10 guy is so big anyway.

in Tera you have to go out of your way to find something as conservative as any random GW2 leather armor piece
also there's elin
If you ever played GW1 and linked up your account you can use your heritage armor instead which looks better I guess.
