Remember that we can't deal actually lethal damage in a normal situation. This is just a war game. Our disabled pilots can be revived.

EDIT: This was in response to Obi's notification.
If your ship statline is (for example) 4/4/0/3 and you had 4 ships in your squadron. You would:
1) Have 4 engine points for the purpose of movement (base stat for your ships)
2) Have 16 defense value base when being shot at (4 engine x 4 ships)
As your ship amount gets less, your defense value will lower, but your movement will always stay the same.

I'm... not sure I have a good solution to that.
Pilot skill is used to determine an increase to your total Value before any modifiers.

So if I had 4 defense skill, 5 ships in my squadron with 4 engine and was in defensive formation would I have 50 Defense ( (4+4)*5 + 25%) or 30 Defense ( 4*5 + 4 + 25%)?

All will need to turn; the blowers-up no more than any else. A single turning can turn two hexes.
