People still hate on stingers? Its nice that they are worth a damn, but I did find a legit bug using my IGLA on Oman the other day. Perhaps this was just a graphic glitch but I don't think so. My IGLA was locking on and I'm mashing left-mouse so it launches asap because the gunner in the chopper made me. Doing this I would regularly launch 2 rockets at once. At first I thought it was just me, but then I was able to repeat it several times. Then I thought its just launching the rocket on my screen its not actually launching it. Chopper popped flares and both rockets exploded behind him. I've been trying more and more to re-create this but it hasn't been working like that night on Oman.
So apparently, some folks found out how to mod Bad Company 2 maps and host modded servers.
From what I read, they reverse engineered tools from leaked game files. All you have to do to join a modded server is download some new DLL. I would make absolutely sure you never even try to join a Punkbuster server if you decide to go that route. You will be permabanned.
Never played a Battlefield before, but I've been jonesing lately for some relatively tactical shoosting. Is BF3 vanilla even worth getting at this point? It's only $10 on Origin for the next few days. I assume that everyone has all the premium stuff though and it could very well just be a waste of time and money.

Lots of servers on pc are strictly vanilla, actually. Ten bucks is definitely worth it in my opinion. You will need to fight hard not to get premium before battlefield 4 comes out. The temptation will be great.
I was one of the first PA people to unlock it, and when I got frag rounds for it way back in the day, people kept asking when they added the LAV to whatever map we were playing.

I played a match on Firestorm last night where literally every single person on my team was an engineer, no exceptions. Needless to say, the other team was running absolutely wild with tanks and helicopters with nary an AT mine or missile thrown at them.

Yeah, even though guns are balanced, the M16A3 is in bullshit territory that it's good for close, mid and long range engagements. It's easier to kill someone at a distance with the M16A3 using ironsights, than with the AS VAL using a 4x scope.

I swear on occasions there have been times I've done exactly this with the Javelin and I've killed someone and had it pop up at the bottom of the screen before I've even launched the Jav.
Arghhh I played a few matches today with some PA'ers, but the game kept kicking me out for "Server timed out", specially when I had managed to get C4 multi-kills.

I slammed into the building while trying to kill some dude in the ground and ended up like that. I was so sad I didn't have my torch equipped.
They have a early access deal for the PS3, no doubt Sony wanted to continue that.
