hoped there was gonna be a directors cut of TDKR that made me like the movie more but it never happened. Movie needs some space to breath and develop some of it's themes a bit more clearly imo

Didn't Vincent Price's version of I Am Legend use the original ending?
Also, Question Mark Man's posting of TMNT gifs at the end of the last thread reminded me of my favorite avatar I ever remember seeing here:
This was years and years ago, but someone (can't remember who now) had an avatar of the scene from TMNT2 where Donatello is pretending to be the punching clown, and so the avatar was just a gif of Donatello rocking back and forth in and out of frame with that creepy smile.

Man that Superman trailer...just..wow. Can it be June yet?
Man, next month starts a string of potentially excellent comic book movies. Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, and The Wolverine, wait is anything coming out in August? Only other thing I can think of is Thor 2 in November.
Eh, I guess. Red is such a different beast in comic form, not that the first movie was bad or anything. A straight-up adaption would have been 30 minutes long and hard R.

i avoid director's cuts like they'll give me herpes
Why? Loads of director's cuts have vastly improved upon the originals.
your opinion of blade runner making more sense
ROTK theatrical is better
only if your metric of quality is "how faithfully does it adapt the books"
two towers adn return of the kings extended editions are boring as fuck
The movies are already too long as is.
Daredevil
Blade Runner
Metropolis
The Empire Strikes Back (but not the rest of the trilogy)
I Am Legend (with the original ending)
metropolis is cheating
And finding out about how they changed the original ending to I Am Legend made me so angry.
Which one is that?
i read the books a couple of times
watched the regular edition of the movies a couple times
then tried to watch the extended edition
it took me like a week and a half to finish two towers, jesus christ those cuts are way too long
Are you saying the American theatrical cut of Once Upon a Time in America is better than the director's cut, FAQ
the one where he realizes that much like vampires were boogeymen for humans, he's become the vampires' boogeyman, and then they kill him for it
Also Daredevil is still a bad movie in both theatrical and director's cuts

Sort of comic-based.
