I'm honestly surprised there have been no leaks, considering how bad MS is about leaks. Every Halo game since Halo 2 has leaked early, as has a couple of the Gears games, and probably a few others as well.
I have to admit I'm not expecting much that I'll like from this reveal. All the rumors about the Xbox 360 sounds like it's not a console for me. In general, this whole generation of consoles look like they've passed me up - the only games machine I'm certain to have next gen is my steam box. But is love for this unveil to surprise and blow me away.

So has this thing started yet? I thought it was supposed to start like 30 mins ago but I am seeing no news so I'm guessing not.

Been transitioning into being more of a PC Gamer as of late but always curious to see if anything interesting gets announced.
I don't think there has ever been an easier time to get into pc gaming, ever. Gaben really did save pc gaming as far as I'm concerned. Microsoft dropped the ball with games for Windows. Steam wound up becoming what I wanted gfw to be. It'll be interesting to see how the pc fits into the next xbox strategy. In today's connected world, I would expect it'll be impossible for Microsoft to not exploit the link between console and computer.

I can't say I'm excited for this since there's about a 0.1 % chance I'll be buying this console, but I guess it'll be interesting enough to watch. Or at the very least, we'll get a good laugh out of it.

My prediction for the event is that they'll show a physical box and based on that alone people are going to declare Microsoft winners because people are stupid.
Give me shenmue 3 and I will drown in Microsoft jizz. Really any company that gets shenmue 3 in my hands will receive a proverbial blow job from me.

About the only thing that could fry my brain at this point would be Microsoft walking out and saying "It's the PS4 guys, Sony and us are now one!" And then everyone holds hands and sings kumbaya.

Netflix parties are a neat idea and a nice bonus for a gaming console; but its not the sort of thing that will make me buy a console if they're touting that sort of stuff as a primary feature.
I know that the industry seems to think that 'single use' devices are simply a thing of the past but I just don't really agree, and I don't think it's a "get off my lawn" sort of thing either.
Still, I'm interested in hearing what Microsoft has to say. Sony didn't impress me with their PS4 reveal. This could be an odd generation where I just have a PC and a WiiU and don't have a need to get a 'next-gen' console.
