All-New X-Men #12, Jean and the young X-Men don't understand the hypocrisy when it comes to the Avengers, and Alex gets to see his brother:
Fuck you, Cap.
Avengers #13, move over Vin Diesel and the Rock, because Thor and Hyperion are going to bogart your baby oil bromance! Plus, Superior Spider-Man finds a friend in Hawkeye:
The way Bendis is writing it, I wonder if he's building up to the X-teens convincing Wolverine he needs to forgive Cyclops. I could possibly get behind that, if they have a big bro-talk with some hugging.
re: Avengers Arena. I'm sure we're going to get some sort of badass moment next issue. Her powers are based on bloodshed and that was a hell of a lot of blood. I was actually yelling at the book, "Grab the staff!!! Grab the staff!!".

Also, when she said "Help"
it was in the same font as is used when she is casting spells, not in her normal speaking font. Help can be a damn powerful word to use, and has the potential to drop almost anything into the book.

Dang Death, way to be speciesist. Maybe you should look towards Red Skull as a boyfriend.
Also Thanos is a Star Wars fan. Most of the women he slept with looked like Twi'liks.

I did notice that when I flipped through it - couple times I thought it was the same character.
Really not liking it though - not much interest in Thanos as a kiddie, or in wholesale woman and child slaughtering. I guess I just can't get behind childhood of totally evil monster stories.
Yeah, the Thanos miniseries isn't particularly illuminating nor is it terribly interesting. I'm pretty much just reading because I like Thanos, but seeing him
Stumble around trying to find his place isn't what makes the character fun.

Arena Spoilers
Hopeless is very, very good at dangling a little bit of hope in front of the reader. Oh hey, it's probably just a simul- nope
I bet Kid Britain winds up allying with the other ki- nope
Oh hey, Juston's alive afte- oh
I think you are absolutely right that Nico's final word will aid the gang, but I think that it's intentionally misleading, to make us believe that she could pull through. It's more likely that it snaps Chase out of his fugue or something of that nature.
I think the "help" might be the thing that breaks through to the outside world.
But Nico will still be dead.
I'm guessing there's going to be a big bloodbath coming up in Avengers Academy.
X-23 is injured so everyone will lower their guards around her. That seems to be a good time for Arcade to throw in some trigger scent.
Also, it was kind of dumb for X-23 to just charge Apex like an idiot. However, that might be a hint at Apex having the power to see through the "eyes" of the machines she controls. X-23 knows how to be stealthy and she can pounce on a person and lop off their head without being seen or heard. However, if Apex can see through machines then she would have seen X-23 coming through the Sentinel's sensors.
