We've used six month old files and have to redo unnecessary work (not my fault (tm)).

We call it source control, and it has lead to three moments of grief this year alone.

This is the part I really, really liked. I kind of hope one of two things happens. Either another team takes this idea, and runs with it, or that League of Fighters gets absorbed into Riot and they make a full 2d fighter with these mechanics.
I like the idea of a cool-down based fighting game!
