If you have 4 files and are told to use the most recent version: sort by date and use the most recent version is pretty easy.

We've used six month old files and have to redo unnecessary work (not my fault (tm)).

We call it source control, and it has lead to three moments of grief this year alone.

So like because it recreates deleted files I renamed the most recent finished file and told people to use that.

And then people used the oldest file instead.

Am listening to a documentary about Jas 39 Gripen.

They are at the part where they decided it was cool to have an air show with it over Stockholm when a city-wide festival was occurring and the plane was known to have a defective steering system that crashed it more often than not.

And then it crashed right down into the city but it happened to be on a park area where nobody was standing and miraculously nobody got injured by a fighter jet exploding in a capitol city.

South African sausage does have a good reputation but to some extent taste is where you grow up. I quite miss NZ sausage compared to UK, even though the latter is fine

So there is a fan-made 2d fighter based on league of legends, that has apparently been given the official seal of approval if they promise not to charge money for the game.

This isn't what I want to talk about- what is interesting is that it features the exact same abilities.

    What I mean is this
Exactly the same buttons as you use for League of Legends! Q: Weak attack, W: Medium Attack, E: Heavy attack, D: Summoner Spell, F: Ultimate. We use R for all the specials, and they're easy to do! For example in Annie, Standing R: Fireball, Forward R: Flamethrower, Down R: Flameshield. Thats it! But each special and summoner spell has its own cooldown just like in the real game.

This is the part I really, really liked. I kind of hope one of two things happens. Either another team takes this idea, and runs with it, or that League of Fighters gets absorbed into Riot and they make a full 2d fighter with these mechanics.

I like the idea of a cool-down based fighting game!

@Inquisitor @bloodyroarxx @ any other fighting game kids
