Also, I'm late to the ore party, but I have two full rooms in the museum of ores. I'd say I have about 30+ of every ore (except gold). Trying to get the full gold furniture set, but I'm not that far in. Probably half-way, I think?
Anyways. I stocks teh ores. You want it, I try to stock it.

This is my thought on picture pricing.

As individual players, and a community, we can always get more bells. We can also get more seasonal or event items, gyroids, ores, etc. by time traveling.

What we cannot easily acquire are neighbor pictures.

So, trying to put a bell amount or item exchange amount on them is kinda...problematic. They are likely the rarest items in the game.

In hindsight, I kinda feel like a dick yoinking that for 200K bells. If you want me to truck over a million, I would do so...and still feel like I owe you.

I don't have much use for money besides some of the projects that ask for 500,000 or more.
Wish I had a pic to spare a month ago when I started the Tower project and didn't have any time to grind for bells. Took forever to pay off!

Speaking of flowers I'm not sure I understand how fertilizer works. I mean, I read about it. I put it next to a yellow pansy and a red pansy who I thought had a blue pansy for a parent (but I suppose one of my sneaky townspeople might have planted it behind my back, I see them doing that shit sometimes) hoping for a purple pansy because that's what thonky says to do and today nothing is different except the X on the ground where I buried the fertilizer is gone.

Thonky is full of errors and never updated. The best flower breeding guide I've found seems to be the Wiki where people can at least correct the errors.

How long do people spend on ACNL daily on average? I started a town a while ago but burnt out after a few weeks because I felt like I was spending an hour plus on just daily stuff (tree-shaking, fossils, flower-watering etc) without really much progress in customising my town. Is this normal, or do things like tree-shaking become less important financially once you're more established?

I've stopped shaking trees (for fruit and furniture) ages ago, I recently installed the Beautiful Town ordnance and last week I finished my fossil collection. I pretty much only play about 20 minutes per now now.

I thought things on the beach didn't wilt? I am a little perturbed because I have been trying to get more to breed from that one and it hasn't happened in the month since it first appeared.

They definitely wilt on the beach. You will still have to water them. The key thing is that if you plant them on the beach, animals won't build over em.

In terms of "per day"? I usually spend a few hours. Part of that is grinding Cyrus items, staying online to grind town visits / visitors.

I got my morning chores down to about 25 minutes. That includes:
- Buying all shop items, and updating Moridb with any new acquisitions
- Dig up fossils, hit rocks, water dried flowers
- Sort mail, and enter new HHA items into Moridb

Sunday mornings I can spend an hour or more just buying turnips.

I stopped shaking trees. It eats quite a bit of time with little payoff.

I'm pretty sure my turnip prices are on a one-way trip to suckytown. Which is bad, because this is the first week I remembered to buy turnips and I kind of got carried away and bought at least twice as many as I can reasonably transport to another town in one trip.
