Ah am Wilfred Woodruff VI. My great-great-great-great-gran'pappy was Fambing Woo, Confederate officah, war hero and great man. Mine is a proud heritage, and these other "master" chefs are just a bunch of scalawags and city slickahs.

If the knowledge is real, I would think you should either withdraw or play like you didn't know what you know. If its a ploy/lie to get your brother dead, then I'm not sure what to think.

Basically, this way we both shot each other in the face vs. one or the other shooting the other in the back.
Yeah, there's not much we can do about it. GG should just not talk to whoever this friend is about phalla stuff, but now that it's out there, he shouldn't "play like he didn't know". I mean, he can not trust the friend completely, but it's impossible to act as if you didn't know something, especially in a game that is 100% about what you know.
I don't know what to do in GG's situation. Withdrawing doesn't make sense. Playing like you don't know is difficult but doable, but before you develop the reputation of "I know this person IRL and therefore I'm not going to discuss any information I may have about them that I have obtained outside the forums" it gets really awkward and obvious if you do any kind of soft networking.

Pretty simply, you didn't need to mention out of game discussion just because out of game discussion took place, two wrongs don't make a right. It's very easy for a villager to ignore a single mafia and still contribute to the game (people do that all the time with Rend deals, hell) cause you have several other mafia to hunt. Even if you couldn't help yourself from analyzing buddha's posts, buddha would probably be extra cautious with his posting anyways.
Not trying to sound too harsh since it was buddha's and his friend's fault as well and it's understandable for people to come to the conclusion that you did, but there still are other options.
Which is a shame. This would have been my 15th phalla game I've played and first time ever playing Mafia.
I ask GG to withdraw as well. That was beyond bad taste.
(or when enough people think we should hang him that it becomes a "safe" place for mafia to hide their vote history, unfortuately)
