The lesser of DialUp ISP evils

After a year long relationship with Juno, I decided to hop ship to another ISP to test the waters. Earthlink, in a nutshell, is an abomination. Does anyone have any recommendations of a dialup ISP that at the very least, sucks less than Earthlink?
Please also note, I live in rural New Mexico, there's no broadband near me. Moving to a civilized area is very high on the priority list, but I need something to fill the meantime.
I've been using MSN for some time with a dial-up connection and have a very little trouble. Their customer service is fairly quick in responding and helpful.
The only complaint, and I'm not sure where the problem lies, is spurts of dead connections. The data flow just stops without disconnecting me. This could be on my end, their end, or somewhere in between. I have no idea on how to test it.
Once the connection stabilizes I have very little trouble playing Unreal Tournament 2004, Guild Wars, and World of Warcraft on-line with everything turned up. I can even run through Ironforge in World of Warcraft, a place that is usually crowded, with little difficulty.
If you decide to get MSN make sure you download the MSN Connection Center. This little program fixed all sorts of problems I was having earlier.
when my DSL modem was going in for repairs, Netzero worked pretty good for me. The NetZero 3G was nice, the acceleration actually works (by using compression on their servers - you can set how high quality you want your images to be).

Also downloading was a bitch because they would disconnect me when doing that at times.

Plus you can try it free.
