Salvaging Something from a dead Xbox

GaddezGaddez Registered User regular
So, I happen to have an Xbox 360 that went red ring on me, and unfortunately it dies holding one of my play discs for ME 2 in it's Disc drive.

While I don't give a rats ass about the Xbox, I would like to salvage the disc for another 360 that I happen to own. Can anyone give me advice on how to get it out of the box without damaging it?

If you look on the narrow end of the console closest to the disc tray, there should be a manual eject hole that you can stick a paper clip into to pop the drive open. If you have one of the ones that has a custom plastic shell you might have to pop that off first.
